A/N: This is just a quick little one-shot, my attempt to make things better. That episode last night had my in freakin' tears, I can't deal. So here is...this.

Eli walked through the hallways, trying not to look anyone in the eyes. There was a slight limp in his step - he had stopped using his cane - but it was progress. It had been 3 days since he had stopped taking his pills, and without Imogen by his side, he was feeling on edge. He looked for the quirky girl, but ended up crashing into the one he wanted to avoid when he rounded a corner. They both fell to the ground.

"I'm so sorry-" Clare started before realizing who she was talking to. "Eli," she breathed, "I actually wanted to talk to you." She stood up and held out a hand to him.

"I'm not answering anymore questions about the play!" He snapped, standing up on his own. Clare pulled her hand back slowly, and her blue eyes softened.

"It's not about the play." She studied his face, noticing his quivering lip, and the subtle way his body was shaking. "I've noticed you stopped taking your pills..."

"I don't need them anymore," he tried speaking confidently, but his voice shook. "I'm good."

"Eli, I don't know what she's doing to you, but-"

"Imogen's helping me!" He cut her off. "She's made me realize that you never loved me-"

"Is that really what you think?" Clare couldn't keep her voice down, all the emotions she had been feeling since the break up were resurfacing, and she couldn't hold them in any longer. "I loved you Eli, more than anything! Everything I did, it was for you! Did you think I wanted to break up with you? Our relationship wasn't healthy! It wasn't helping your state of mind! It tore me up in side, but it was the right thing to do! Don't you dare say I never loved you," the last line she spoke was barely a whisper. His green eyes were cast to the floor, unable to speak. "I love you Eli," Clare drew in a shaky breath. "I always have, and I probably always will, and nothing-"

She was cut off when Eli's lips crashed onto hers. The first 3 seconds were pure shock, shock from being in his arms again, shock of feeling his lips gently moving on hers, shock from the whole moment. Then, she kissed him back fiercely, exactly how she's been wanted to. She dropped whatever books were in her hands and snaked her hands around his neck, pulling on his hair, trying to bring him closer. His arms gripped her hips, bringing her body with his. They didn't care if they got detention for PDA; all they cared about was each other.

And no one was going to change that.

And...yeah. I needed that.
