Magnus snuck up to the Institute right under Alec's window with a handful of pebbles. He tossed them one-by-one at Alec's window until Alec himself appeared, opening the window and looking down at him. He said something that Magnus couldn't hear. Magnus grinned widely and cupped a hand around his ear, shrugging. Alec got the picture and disappeared into his room again. He reappeared a moment later with his phone pressed to his ear. Magnus heard his own ringing in his pocket. He pulled it out and answered it.

"Hello, lovely."

"What are you doing?" Alec hissed in his ear. Magnus's grin widened.

"Throwing rocks at your window. Isn't it romantic?" He heard Alec sigh and saw him shake his head.

"What gives you these ideas?"

"Romantic comedies, mostly." He saw Alec shake his head and rub his eyes and chuckled. "You know, since I went to all this trouble the least you could do is come down here and see me."

"You're a pain, you know that?" Alec said, but Magnus could hear the smile in his voice.

"So I've been told. Now get your cute little ass down here." He said, chuckling. When he heard the click of Alec hanging up he went to the front door to wait for Alec.

His breath caught in his throat when Alec walked out. His hair was messed up from sleeping and he hadn't bothered to change, wearing just a pair of sweat pants, chest and feet bare. He walked swiftly up to the boy and wrapped his arms around his waist, kissing him softly on the lips. Alec gasped slightly and automatically wound his arms around the warlock's neck.

"I love you." Magnus mumbled against Alec's lips.

"I love you, too."
