Night Wonderings
Disclaimer:
I do not own Airgear or any of its characters.
If I did Kazu would be the main character and it would be a porno.
Also, I do not own the poem. It is To Anybody At All by Margaret Tait.
I didn't want you cosy and neat and limited.
I didn't want you to be understandable,
Understood.
I wanted you to stay mad and limitless,
Neither bound to me nor bound to anyone else's or
Your own preconceived idea of yourself.
Sano peered into the bathroom mirror at his swollen right eye, poking and prodding it as he inspected it. Satisfied with his findings, he stopped and hmm-ed under his breath, replacing his glasses. "It's gone down a bit." He voiced his thoughts to the empty bathroom. He gave a sigh, halfway between wistfulness and disappointment. He was unsure if it was directed at himself or his young lover.
He padded out of the bathroom on near silent feet; pausing to switch off the bathroom light before continuing on into the moonlit bedroom. He paused to take in the slender, nude form of his young lover, bathed in moonlight. Unable to help himself, he lightly traced a path down his lover's silkily smooth cheek; noticing the innocent plumpness of his lover's cheeks. How deceiving his lover looked asleep; like an angel fallen from the heavens. He sighed again and wondered why he couldn't just find someone who matched their packaging.
Withdrawing his hand, he traced his own swollen right eye lightly and frowned, immersed in his thoughts. He jumped, startled, when an arm was flung out and his lover awoke, as his arm met the soft bed. Sleepy blue eyes peered up at him through messy golden bangs. His heart skipped a beat and he could feel a light blush covering his cheeks. "Sano?" Came the question, the voice like music to his ears. The sleepy blue gaze sharpened as he was inspected head to toe, and faded as he passed inspection. "Come to bed." Was the demand.
Sano smiled slightly as his inner wonderings were once again answered without words. "Of course, Kazu-chan." He murmured, making his way to his side of the bed; his robe falling to the floor along the way. "Stop calling me that." Kazu's grumble was barely heard as he snuggled into Sano's chest. Drawing Kazu closer, he laughed lightly "But you always be Kazu-chan to me." He murmured into Kazu's ear, making the youth blush a pretty red. As expected there was more grumbling and a threat. "I'll get you tomorrow, you bastard!"
