Hespereia glared at the figure rapidly disappearing into the distance, then turned to her sisters and sighed:
"Well, there goes another one."
Can't we get a *real* replacement this time?"
"*No* Hespera, you really think Zeus' budget'll stretch to that? Remember last time?; 'No loves, you can't have some decent golden apples, you can't have the garden landscaped, you can't have any nubile slaves to satisfy your every need...' Sanctimonious bastard."
"So we're going to do the same as last time then?"
"Yes. Erythea, go buy a hundredweight of apples of Xanthius the Greek, Arethusa, go find the gold spray paint..."

A/N#2: Strangely enough, this comes from a real life experience. Spray painting apples is surprisingly therapeutic.
The names used here are the reputed names of the Hesperides, although there were supposed to be 7 of them: Aegle, Erythea, Arethusa, Hestia, Hespera, Hesperusa, Hespereia.
