[PROLOGUE:] He placed his hand on the surface of the mirror. The creature on the other side placed its hand against Komaeda's. "Let me out." Komaeda commanded. He couldn't let this... this beast
kill his friends. This creature was despair itself. It was made to kill. It was born inside Komaeda's heart, but has now escaped thanks to this wicked mirror. That thing on the other side, with
the white, messy hair, the long green jacket, the white t-shirt with a red crosslike thing on it, the two-zipper shoes... it wasn't him. It wasn't him at all. The creature smiled, as he left
Komaeda alone on the other side of the mirror, where no one would ever find him.
Chapter one:
"Hey, are you okay?" Hajime asked. Komaeda snapped out of his thinking and looked at Hajime. "Ah, yes, I am, thank you for asking." he quickly responded. Hajime and Komaeda were walking alongside
the beach. The things they just went through were things that needed to sink in. First they woke up in classroom, that was apparently not real, since the walls then fell and they were on a
tropical island. Then a pink rabbit appeared, claiming to be their teacher and telling them to be friends and collect Hope fragments. But then a bear appeared and... said they must kill eachother
and... Sigh. Komaeda started to walk faster, lost in his thoughts. 'Kill, huh.' Komaede thought. He was wondering if you could really kill someone and get off the island or if their was a snake
under the grass. "No really, Komaeda. You're acting really weird. Ever since that Monokuma showed up. Are you really okay?" Hajima asked again. Once again Komaeda snapped out of his thinking and
looked at Hajime. 'This kid...' "Oh? I'm sorry if I made you worried about a worthless person as myself, but I am really okay! I'm just... tired." Komaeda responded. He noticed how fast he was
walking and slowed down to walk next to Hajime. "So if you don't mind, Hinata-kun, I'm going to rest." Komaeda said. Hajime nodded an okay and walked further, waving goodbye. Komaeda went left,
towards the huts waving back at Hajime with one hand...
And holding the mirror in his pockets with the other.
Komaeda punched the mirror once again. But there wasn't even a scratch on it. Tired, Komaeda fell on his knees. His hands were wounded because of the amount he has punched the mirror. "I can't
give up!" He shouted to himself, and started punching again. That creature is out there! Whatever it was planning, it couldn't be good! Komaeda could hear everything that happened outside the
mirror, but couldn't see because he was inside the creature's pocket all the time and no one could hear Komaeda. He had heard the accident with Monokuma and suspected that the creature had a plan.
A plan that needed to be stopped. If only... if only Komaeda could get out of this prison inside this mirror.
