AN: This shall be my first foray into the kingdom of writing fanfiction. Goodbye my fanfiction virginity. Your departure is felt with an amalgamation of joy and more apprehension.
Since this is my first time *cough* writing something not related to school work, do forgive any gross grammar, inaccuracies, my suspected verbosity, spelling errors etc that I missed during my proof reading as this is pretty much the raw unbeta-ed form. I'm not sure if this will remain a oneshot. Ideas are welcome since I typed this spontaneously and there is actually no plot. *cough* Or at least a planned one.
Reviews would be much appreciated. Thanks for reading!
Warnings: Mild yaoi. Can't write anything too wild yet.
Disclaimer: I own nothing. Except maybe the cliche near-non-existent plot and the effort to type in snail motion.
Vampire Knight. KXZ
It was nothing more than a feeding session. A satisfaction of one of mankind' most basest needs if you will, to prevent him from falling over the precarious edge towards insanity. Blood ran down Zero's chin, coating his incisors ruby red, allowing ivory to peek through between the rivulets before he sank them into flesh.
Zero couldn't breathe. That ambrosia is a poison unto itself. Its sweetness was clogging his brain, his mouth, his goddamn lungs. It was unbearable. He could barely stand without Kuran's arms round his waist supporting him.
It was addiction. It was sin. He couldn't resist it. That glorious rich fluid that runs crimson in the veins giving life. Breathe. It was flowing generously down the side of the other's neck, staining his collar red. Spreading like a disease. Truly a waste. His tongue lapped the trail obediently, occasionally giving torn flesh tentative little licks before pressing his nose to the side of the pureblood's neck arrowing down to that strong pulse that throbbed visibly on that strong throat. Pulling that alluring scent into himself, he let it fill his senses.
' I hate you,' he whispered fervently against that warm skin, brown locks tickling his cheek, his moist breath coming out in puffs. Breathe.
'I know,' Kaname whispered tenderly, his voice swept through Zero as a shiver. 'And you always will.'
Zero pushed weakly against Kaname's chest, choking back sobs. May this remain his dirtiest secret. His filthy desire for a vampire. The chasm between him and Kaname was widening each day, its yawning void threatening to swallow Zero whole. He couldn't lose himself in there no matter how tempted, could never lose his head over a vampire. He had shown unforgivable weakness to one and she had left bloodshed in her wake of showering blossoms. Zero could never risk his heart and soul over this creature. He wasn't sure he could afford to pay the price.
And Yuuki. Dear sweet clueless Yuuki. She was the point that link their tragic triangle. Kaname to her, she to him. Zero to her and inconspicuously, Zero to Kaname. Not that he would ever let them know. It was his pain to bear to see Yuki happy since he own her so much for pulling him out of his tortured nightmares.
'I hate you...' It was a mantra cycling round the bloody haze in his mind. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. Maybe if I repeat it enough, he thought bitterly, it might just come true.
