"You wanted to see me?" I asked as I came into the office.

Kirova nodded. "Yes, Guardian Belikov."

"What would you like to talk about?" I asked. I was curious to see what was this about.

"You're student, Rosemarie Ivashkov, has requested to go outside the school borders. She wants to attend to a competition in New York." she explain.

I nodded.

"Its up to you if she will go. You don't have to do this, but this will be good for you two to get to know her more before classes start."

"What's this about?" I asked.

"Music. She told me her mother took her there each year, and this year she got receive the notice this year. Like I said you don't have to do this."

I though about it. Spending time with a 14 year-old wasn't my first priority. Kirova had a point, I had to know her, in order to teach her. I nodded. "I'll take her. When is this….thing happening?"

"It starts Monday. You will leave on Saturday afternoon (vampire time)" she said.

I nodded. "She knows what to do?" I asked. I wasn't so sure if I knew what to do.

She nodded. "You will only need to sing as her guardian. Her parents left the school, me, as a legal guardian until she is 18. I gave you permission to sing for her."

I nodded. "What time do we leave?"

"The jet will leave as soon as you get to the airport. We are hoping that you two leave the school around 6. So it would be day once you get to New York."

I nodded. "Okay. Is any one else coming?"

She shook her head. "I'm sure you don't a need any more guardian to protect her. I know she's not a Moroi but she can't go by herself."

I nodded. I left the office and quickly told the secretary to send a message to Rosemarie that Kirova was looking for her. I went back in to wait for her to come. I didn't know what I got myself into.
