Lucy sat at the bar listening to Mira gossip "Romeo took Wendy on another date yesterday" she squealed.
"really" said Lucy uninterested. Mira looked at her confused "what's wrong Lucy?"
"..."
"Lucy!?" She repeated.
"huh? What happened?" Lucy asked.
"Are you ok Lucy?" Mira asked
Lucy sighed "yeah I guess" she said looking a bit depressed.
Mira looked over to see what Lucy was staring at before "Oh my Mavis!" She squealed.
"what are you talking about?" Lucy said with worry in her voice.
"you were staring at Natsu! You like him!" She said excitedly.
Lucy's face went bright red "w-what are you talking about? I-I-I d-don't like n-Natsu!" she whispered Back to the giggling bartender.
"your face says differently" she sang continuing to clean cups
"Mira I don't!" She practically screamed.
"you don't what?" Said a certain dragon slayer putting his arm around Lucy's shoulder.
"n-nothing!" She replied as She jumped out of his reach
"umm ok then, well Luce I need to tell you something" Natsu stated seriously.
"what is it?" Lucy asked curiously
"I know you think I'm dense and stupid but..." Natsu looked at Mira
"oh, Ill just go give out some drinks" she said before running away giving drinks to the other guild members.
"But...?" Lucy said looking at him confused
"but I'm smart enough to notice my own feelings" he grabbed Lucy's hand and pulled her up off of her seat.
Lucy's eyes went wide and her face went red "Lucy it's you, your the one who makes my heart hurt when you get hurt, your the one who I think about all day and you the one I think I love" he said looking into her eyes.
Lucy stood there dumbfounded, did he just say he loved her? "sorry I know you don't love me back but I just needed to tell you how I felt" he said with pain in his eyes.
"Baka" Lucy mumbled stopping him from taking another step away from her.
"what?" He asked "your a Baka" she said tears rolling down her cheeks.
"no don't cry Luce I'm sorry!" He shouted "I love you too" she Mumbled making him stop freaking out
"you what?" He said surprised.
"I SAID I LOVE YOU TOO BAKA!" She screamed
the whole guild went silent and turned towards them.
"Really?" He asked
"what do you-" Natsu leaned in and crashed his lips against hers. At first she was surprised but then she relaxed into it and kissed him back. Their lips fitted together perfectly like a jigsaw that had just been solved.
after what seemed like centuries they pulled away breathing heavily. Natsu pulled her into an embrace "I love you" he whispered into her ear "I love you too and by the way was it Gray who helped you realise your feelings?" She said smiling.
"how do you know I didn't do it by myself?" he asked
"because your a baka" she replied placing a small kiss on his lips as the whole guild cheered.
