Minecraft Fanfiction Pet Peeves

What do you hate most about the fanfiction in this community? Is it how cringy some is? Is it how they never seem to be just right? If you want, leave a review and I'll make another chapter summarizing what I think/know about that type of fanfiction. Rated T, though I know people don't really care, due to possible swearing.

1. The self-insert fanfics

Pet Peeve 1: Self-Insert MCYT Fanfiction

This kind of fanfiction is usually the worst. Not only are the self-inserts usually dull, boring, and downright painful to read, but the way they set them up..

Common 1: "I am the sister/brother/cousin/other type of family descent here of famous mcyt here" This kind of setup is overused AND when it is used, they go 'orphanage' or 'abused' or apparently the famous mcyt just found out about them like thAT? Like, my last name is v common in the community I'm in (v Polish) BUT I don't go *hmm looks like person here is related; time to find out their number/twitter/facebook/yt etc and say hi*?

Common 2: "somehow, as I am a youtuber, I got invited to a famous youtubers recordings oh mAI GOSH" also generally overused, the said self insert tends to end up dating said famous guy, does a thing w/ dudes best friend, and back with the famous dude.

Those are the two I see the most, anyway. Do you guys like or hate these people? Try to ignore them, or flame them?

Either way, some self insert fanfiction is good as long as you don't make it cringy, heh. That Andromeda one a few yearsish back was kinda great, I have to admit.
