A song based on Lucy's midnight encounter with Aslan in Prince Caspian, and 1 Corinthians 13:12, with perhaps a bit looking forward to LB. And, of course, just knowing Aslan. It is, perhaps, a song she sang after returning to her earthly home the second time, waiting for the next moment she would once more see her heart's desire.

"Aslan," said Lucy, "you're bigger!"

"That is because you are older, little one," answered he.

"Not because you are?"

"I am not. But every year you grow, you will find me bigger." – Aslan and Lucy in Prince Caspian

"This was the very reason why you were brought to Narnia, that by knowing me here for a little, you may know me better there." – Aslan in Voyage of the Dawn Treader
"There stood his heart's desire, huge and real, the golden Lion, Aslan himself..." – The Last Battle

Know You As I am Known

I want to wake in a dancing wood
Under the light of the moon
Filtering down through the branches

And listen to whistling wind
Up in those branches sing
A lovely song, oh a hymn, just for a King

And there I'll see You
grander than I've ever known before
And I'll run to You
and I'll know You as I've never known before
I will know You as I am known
I'll know You as I am known

I will join with those swaying trees
Though there is not a breeze
But heartbeat and full release
In wonder of You

For You have called my name
Oh! I must see Your face
Push through this dancing maze
To find You again
