One Early morning in the Heartfillia residents,Lucy heartfillia a 16 year old girl,woke up and got herself ready.
Lucy's POV _
I woke up in the morning feeling refreshed. Sitting up slowly and glancing at the clock, "What? It's only this early?" I thought as I laid back on my bed. "Might as well get myself ready, guess I'll head to school earlier today." Standing up, i did my usual morning routine. Brush teeth, Tie my hair into a ponytail with my favorite hairband and changing into my school uniform. Lastly, slightly spraying myself with my favorite vanilla scent perfume, then headed down to have my breakfast. "Miss Lucy! Breakfast is ready!" Aed, the head chef said, handing me my breakfast plate. Bacon and Eggs. "Thanks for the meal!" I said, as I dug in. "Looks like dad isn't eating this morning." I thought, eating a slice of bacon. Not long, the food on my plate was finished. I stood up bid my caretakers farewell, and began my journey to Fairy Academy, it wasn't far from my home, so I usually walk there.
~At class 6:45am (Still Lucy's POV)~
As I sat down on my desk, a girl with short blue hair and brown eyes came over and greeted me with a cheerful voice. "Good Morning Lu-chan!" Levy a bookworm and my besfriend in this school. "Morning Levy!"I replied "Say, Lu-chan have you heard? Today six new transfer students are coming to this school!" Levy chirped radiantly. "What? I never heard of it. So exactly, who are they?" I asked. "All 6 of them are guys and guess the best part!" Levy said slyly, jabbing me at my side, "You're gonna date all of them?" I answered, really uninterested. I only have a few friends in school and Levy was one of them. People referred to me as the "Devil" and thought I was bad luck, therefore stayed away from me. "No silly! They're all coming into our class!" She replied, a wide smile gleaming in her face. "I see. Well have fun I'm just going to my own corner." I said, reaching over to my bag to grab a book, glancing away from her. "Boo!~ You're no fun Lu-chan!" She teased. "Yeah yeah whatever." I answered the bluenette, rolling my eyes.
Suddenly, Ear-piercing screams were heard. "What the-?!" Glancing back to Levy, then to the classroom door, which was swarmed with girls, either from other class and ours. "Here they come!" Levy yelped, elated. Said boys were struggling to come into the class, as they were swarmed by an army of hormonal school girls, all squealing with literal hearts in their eyes. "Girls, girls, relax! Ow- Hey!" one of the guys said, trying to push them away, gently, to no avail obviously. I shook my head and went back to reading, Levy was also shocked and took her seat beside me. "Aren't you going to join them and squeal like idiots?" Without glancing at her I murmed, but loud enough for her to hear. "Nah, it's too rowdy, my hair would get messy and my shirt would be crumpled all over." She replied, fixing a strand of her radiant blue curl. A teacher came to the hallways and shouted for the students to go back to their class. Jeering were heard and as the crowd finally settled, I looked up and 6 boys came into view, standing in front of the class. "Talk about power rangers." Scoffing, rolling my eyes. It was weird and like REALLY weird. Before even introducing themselves, I could feel the strange charisma they give off. There was a blue haired guy who had a habit of stripping, a salmon haired boy who was a literal pyromaniac because of him playing with a lighter, a black haired guy with piercings all over his face and arms, a blonde haired dude who looked absolutely cocky and probably his twin who had black hair who was awfully quiet while staring into space and lastly another black haired dude who was muttering about how to end the world.
"Are they really that handsome? They look like some kind of old lame boy band if you ask me." I said to myself giggling lightly. As the homeroom teacher came in he told them to introduce themselves. "uh Hi i'm Gray Fullbuster." The guy who had blue hair started. "Don't you have anything more to say? Like your hobbies and stuff. "A random girl said, fluttering her eyelashes at them. "I don't know?" He continued and suddenly started to strip. The girls in my class squealed so loud I feel as if I could go deaf in a second, covering my ears, I glared at them silently. Levy was just laughing and clapping along. How can she not feel her eardrums bursting?! "Enough! Settle down girls!" The teacher reprimanded. "I can guess what your hobby is you damned ice asshole, you're a stripping pornstar!" The salmon haired male interjected mischievously. It was then i giggled along with my classmates. "What did you say you firefreak!" He shot back. "Huh?! I'm no firefreak! I can't help that I love fire you little ice loving piss." The pink haired boy retaliated. They went head to head and glowered at each other. "Boys. Mind your language. It's your first day in school and It'd be really ugly to scold you already." The teacher tauted, anger written all over his face. "We're sorry." They squeaked. "By the way, hey! I'm Natsu Dragneel and I'm no firefreak, I just really love fire!" So he said. "Remind me to never invite him to my house if he ever becomes my friend. I don't want my mansion burnt to crisps." I thought sweat dripping down the back of my head. "Sup', names' Gajeel Redfox." He introduced grinning. "Lu-chan! Lu-chan, that's him! He's so dreamy!" Levy whispered loud enough for me to hear while staring, unblinking at Gajeel. "Natsu! No lighters allowed in school! Hand it over!" The teacher said, immidiately taking he lighter from Natsu's grasps. Jaw-slacked Natsu then said "No! Wait! I can't live without seeing for an hour!" He was reaching and trying to get his said 'precious lighter' back. The class laughed as he ridiculed. I sweat-dropped. "Seriously? Wow." I rolled my eyes. The teacher didn't care at all as they continued. "Hey, the names' Sting! Nice to meet you ladies. Oh! Me and my pal here are twins" Draping an arm over to the black-haired male beside him while he winked at me. A surprised look etched on my face. "Did he seriously wink at me." I thought. Girls all over my class tsk'ed at me. Mumbling nasty words behind me. I could careless. I looked away from him. "It's nothing, probably a coincidence." I thought, glancing back up. It his twins' turn. "Rogue Cheney." He mumbled. "Twins but a different back name." I raised my eyebrow. "Hello, I am Zeref Dragneel." He said, smiling. It looked more like a sinister type of smile. But I didn't thought much about it, I'm not one to judge alot. "Welp, this time they are genuinely twins." I thought. "Well since you guys are new to this school, we'll need someone to guide you. Any volunteers?" Just as the teacher's speech ended, a blonde haired girl, so called the leader of the bitchy gang of girls she goes out with, stood up raising her hand. "I would love to show these boys around the school!" She said, fakingly pouting her lips and fluttering her fake eyelashes to them. I wanted to puke and bleach my eyes. She looked so fake and so slutty. I held in my disgust as the teacher reconsidered. "Nah, not you (random girl's name). Hmm.. Lucy, you up for the job?" He glanced over at me. My heart beat perked up. Everyone was looking at even the boys. I wasn't very social so i couldn't communicate very well with people, especially boys. "S-sure?" I replied sheepishly. "Hey! I raised my hand first! Why does she get to go?!" (random girl's name) argued. "You guided (random boy's name) when he transferred here, let others have a chance." Teacher said, commanding her to sit down. Slowly looking at her, she glared at me as if she wanted to tear out my heart like a wild animal. "Then it's settled, Lucy, you guide them around the school." Teacher said as he stated them to sit at the vacant seats at the back of the class. They kept their eyes on me before tearing their eyes away from me to go to their seats. I could feel the jealous girls glaring holes behind my back. If looks could kill, i'd be brutally murdered. Not long Biology started, the first lesson of the day. "Hello students, I am (random teacher's name) and I'm your biology teacher." (random female teacher's name) said, kindly smiling as she sat her books down on the teacher's desk. "Oh? We have new students! I'm sure you boys have no books am I right?" She asked and all 6 of them nodded. "Well, what are you waiting for, go look for a partner and share it with them!" She giggled. Said boys spread all over the class to find a partner. Most of them ignored the girls calling for them and went to sit next to a guy. "May I share your book with you?" Someone asked behind me, I whipped my head to look at him, it was Sting. "Uh sure!" I replied feeling unsure. "What am I saying?!" I scolded myself. I pulled my book closer to the edge as he placed his chair beside mine. Levy was so lucky as Gajeel wanted to share her book with her. Sting was surprisingly quiet the whole lesson. It was probably because of me being socially awkward. It's not my fault I don't have a lot of friends! Not long Biology ended and it was our break time.
~Break time~
Levy came over to my desk with her bento in hand as I took out my own bento and began chowing down on the delicious food Aed prepared for me. "Woah! Cool! You make your own lunches?!" Natsu came over and gleamed at our food. "No, my mom prepared this for me." Levy replied. "Would you like some? My cook kind of prepared a little too much for my stomach." I asked. "Of course! I love food!" He took the chopsticks from my hands and began to eat the leftover food. I giggled at his sillyness. His buddies then came over, it was really merry. I wonder if this was what having a lot of friends felt like. "Thanks for the food! It was really delicious!" Natsu exclaimed, satisfied. "I'll feedback that to my chef. By the way, have you guys eaten yet?" I asked, glancing at them. "No." They replied simultaneously. Glancing over to the clock, we still had time. "I guess i'll show you to the cafeteria in my school, there isn't much, but I think it's enough to provide energy for the coming classes." I said, cleaning up the table and placing my lunch box inside my back. "Lu-chan! Let me come with you!" Levy pleaded with those puppy dog eyes. "Alright, tag along." I replied smiling back at her. Before I could place my hand on the knob of the sliding door, "Wait! Let me guide them instead!" (random girl's name) said, giving me her 'kindest' smile. "You look exhausted from class just now, so i'll take over!" She yipped looking at the boys behind me flirtatiously. "No thanks, we'll just follow the appointed guide, thanks anyways." Gray replied her. "But i'll be a much better guide! She looks all lame and boring. Don't you guys want to be famous and stand out like me?" She bit back glaring at me and giving the guys a seductive smile. "Look, (random girl's name), if you want to guide them just for the sake of making them your new play toys then I suggest you leave before I report to the principal of what you and (random boy's name) did in his house." Levy retaliated, fury overtaking her cheerful demeanor. The class let out "ooh's" and "damn" before Levy dragged my me out of the class without a word. "Levy, calm down!" I pleaded my fingers started to hurt from her grip. "Oh! Sorry Lu-chan! Just infuriated by (random girl's name). She's just so annoying!" She ranted. "I know I know, just calm down and we have to go ge- Oh." I was cut short by the boys who surprisingly, stood behind us. "If it makes you feel better, you can tell us who she is and what happened?" Zeref questions looking bewildered. "It's nothing, let's go to the cafeteria to get you guys food." I replied in a reassuring tone. They shook it off and we continued to the cafeteria. On the way there, I have told them about the school too. The main hall, the basketball court etc. After buying and finishing their food, we headed back to class. Fairy Academy was really big, so it was really easy to get lost. I chided them of which route to take to wherever they wanted to go. When we reached class, I was the first to enter and in a blink of an eye, water covered me. From head to toe. The class burst into a fit of laughter. My first reaction was to look at (random girl's name), she had a smirk on her face and was laughing along. I look stupid, embarrassed and most of all it was right in front of the new students. It didn't take me long to realize that I was crying. A warm jacket was placed over me. It was Rogue's. "Y-You didn't have to." I cursed myself for stuttering like an idiot. "Whoever who did that, you better admit it, or I'm reporting this to the student council." He said, looking inscrutable. He looked mad, but sounded mad, but didn't look mad, just very serious. Nobody stood up, fear etched every of their hearts. "Cool, I'll be reporting this to the student council. I'll have her find out who did this." He said looking at me. Before holding onto my arm and dragging my out the class. "You'll need to change, you probably can't go to class like this." He said looking at the signs at the hallways. "I can manage on my own. You don't have to ruin your reputation just because of me." I said nervously, tears still pouring out of my eyes. "I don't need a good reputation to let people know who I am. Besides, who cares of what people think of you." He replied nonchantly. Still trying to search for the student council's office. "I'll bring you there, I know where is it." I said slowly pushing his hand off and holding it. His jacket was still warm. And smelt a lot like him. As we reached as certain redhead greeted us. "How may I help- Lucy?! What happened?!" It was Erza, the student council president and a friend of mine.
Hello, Nova here, I altered the story teehee, sorry for being inactive for a long time and all the time. I was spending all those time improving my grammar or just english overall. I just want to thank all the support you guys give and all of you still anticipating for more of this story. I initially wanted to stop writing and delete the story, but after reading the comments from everybody, my heart welled in happiness and a tear slid down my eye. I am forever grateful to those who read this story and still wanting more. Most of all, those who waited for so long. I promise to update as much as I can. My final exams are coming and I might not be able to have a lot of time for this but i'll try. Thank you once again and Lyra's part would be at the next chapter ^^ stay tuned.
