It was Cosmo and Wanda's 9,895th anniversary. What an anniversary it had been that day! Apparently every fairy in Fairy World knew that the 9,895th wedding anniversary was the false anger anniversary except Cosmo. He got so mad at her for supposedly "forgetting" their anniversary he went home to his mother. They had successfully kept their relationship a secret from her for thousands of years but now the secret was out.
When Wanda and Timmy got to Mama Cosma's house, Cosmo was eating cookies surrounded by beautiful women. Words couldn't describe how hurt and angry she was when she walked through that door. They got into a big fight and somehow found themselves in Fairy World on the fairy dating game show. She had gotten worried as time wore on that Cosmo wouldn't choose her again. Surely he was smart enough to know that she still loved him after all these years despite what had happened.
And he did. He pushed those other girls aside and pulled Wanda into his arms. Then Mama Cosma revealed that this was a plan to tear them apart as she had tried to do many years ago but failed. That angered Cosmo.
"I don't get it mama. Why do you hate Wanda so much?"
Mama Cosma had crossed her arms. "I hate anyone who would try to steal my Cosmo lo-lo away from me. That's why I created Star and Twinkle. They're robots and they'll do whatever I tell them to and they'll be good to you." She got in Wanda's face. "Unlike you, you pink haired…!"
Cosmo stepped between them. Who did his mother think she was to say these things about his wife? He wouldn't stand for it. "Let's get something straight. I'm not bright, big words confuse me, I've got the attention span o a rodent." He held Wanda's hands and looked into her eyes. "But Wanda doesn't care. She loves me anyway. And that should be enough for you!"
Aww's erupted from the audience. Wanda ignored them. All she was paying attention to was her sweet Cosmo. It touched her that he had stood up for her like this and she could never want anyone but him.
"I never realized how much you loved her," Mama Cosma said suddenly getting choked up. It was very clear by the way he held Wanda close to him and gazed into her eyes that he was very happy with her.
"So you'll back off?" Wanda asked hopefully.
Even though it was clear that the two were happy together, Mama Cosmo still disapproved of their relationship.
She snorted. "Of course not! I'll just have to try harder next time."
Timmy came over to them. "Hey you guys, can we go home now?"
"Well you know Timmy, I'll need a little help getting us there," Wanda said batting her eyelashes at Cosmo.
"Ooh pick me!" he exclaimed.
She giggled. "Every time." They waved their wands and they appeared back at Timmy's house where he made an anniversary dinner for his impatient parents.
Later that night they were in their castle after Timmy went to bed. Cosmo swept Wanda off her feet and kissed her deeply. "Who ever said that the 9895th anniversary was the false anger anniversary?"
She poofed up the rule book and turned to the page it was on. "See?"
He looked back and forth between her and the book then poofed it away. "So what?" he said putting her down. Then he turned away from her and crossed his arms. "Get the hell away from me."
Wanda looked at him surprised for a moment and her spirits fell. Things had just gotten better between them. He couldn't be mad at her already, could he? She hesitantly stepped closer to him. "Cosmo…"
He turned to face her and there was a smile on his face. "Just kidding baby. It is the false anger anniversary after all."
She glared at him pretending to be mad and pushed his arm. "Cosmo you jerk!" she said laughing. She chased him around the castle for a moment and they ended up on the couch in each other's arms. She leaned back against his chest with a smile on her face. "You know, we haven't really done anything romantic today."
He smiled knowing what she was getting at. "What do you suggest we do then?"
She sat up and ran her fingers through his hair affectionately. "Maybe some wine, and candles, and a little of this," she said before placing a passionate kiss on his lips.
"Sounds like fun," he said running his hands down her her waist to grab her butt.
"You go get the drinks, and I'll go change." She got up started flying upstairs.
Cosmo flew quickly to the kitchen to the stash of wine that they kept hidden in case a certain god child was in here one day. He got two goblets and took then and the bottle of red wine upstairs. Wanda wasn't in there, probably in the bathroom to surprise him. He couldn't wait to see what sexy outfit she would be wearing that night. He took his shirt off and tossed it in a drawer then lit the candles and put on the playlist of romantic songs they'd made a long time ago that just kept growing as they found more that they liked.
Just as the saxophones on the song started his wife walked in. Once he saw her his heart nearly stopped. She wore a lace purple bra and thong that were practically see through aside from the purple flowered lace designs that covered the parts he most wanted to see.
She was certainly satisfied by his reaction. "Do you like it?" she asked turning around and posing for him.
He nodded practically drooling. "When did you get that?"
"I bought it just for tonight." She crawled across the bed then kissed up his chest making him groan softly. She couldn't help but smile, this was going to be a fun anniversary night.
He poured her a drink and they toasted. "To our anniversary," he said. He kissed her lips and they drank to it. He looked her body up and down as he ran his free hand across her curves. He thought about earlier that day: the ridiculous game show and the robot girls who were nothing compared to Wanda. He chuckled at the thought. "And my mom thought she could get me away from you."
Wanda giggled. "Like that'll ever happen." She reached for the bottle and poured some more wine.
"You're gonna be drunk tomorrow morning," he reminded her.
She proceeded to pour more into his glass. "Hell if I care. It's our anniversary, we're allowed to get drunk sometimes, right?"
Hmm, maybe she was already drunk. Wanda didn't normally swear or get drunk when they'd have to wake a godchild up the next morning for that matter. It didn't matter. They would wake up tomorrow morning totally hammered and Timmy would question it but at the moment he didn't care. Even still he kissed her again with growing passion. God did she taste good. Compared to her, this wine tasted stale now. He put it on the night table and took hers away as well continuing to kiss her wanting to taste the rest of her body.
She then straddled his waist, wanting to be in control, laying more urgent kisses on his mouth emitting low moans from both of them. She kissed down his neck and across his jaw which was his sensitive spot. Sure enough a moan ripped through him. Moving back to his lips, the fire started to ignite between them as urgently passionate kisses ensued and moans filled the room.
The next thing she knew, she was on her back and he was on top of her. A cross between a giggle and a moan escaped her. She let out a content sigh as he kissed her chest. They'd had such a crazy day but, as always, no matter what happened, at the end of the day it was the two of them against the world. She was so happy that he had chosen her. She knew that he always would and she would do the same.
Before he could do anything else and pulled him to her for a hug. Sometimes all she needed was to just feel him pressed against her, his heartbeat bringing her endless peace as it always did.
"Thank you," she said.
"For what?"
She looked into his eyes and ran her fingers across his cheek affectionately. "For being my husband and making me so happy."
He kissed her forehead. "I always will honey. I love you."
"I love you too sweetie."
She went in for another kiss and their passion resumed. The night was filled with the sounds of them showing each other just how much they loved each other.
