Kai Rose's Sinnoh Adventures
It was a bright and sunny morning in Twinleaf Town
10 year old Kai Rose grumbled as he rolled out of his bed. His mom's Jigglypuff had used rollout to wake him up. "Stupid Jigglypuff" Kai muttered, as he pushed the annoying Jigglypuff out of his room. Kai got dressed and slid down the banister to the kitchen. "Mom what's for breakfast!" "Eggs and toast!" she said as Kai approached the mahogany wood table from the Viridian City furniture store. "Don't forget! Today is Doomy's birthday and the day you two get your Pokemon!" "How could I forget?", Kai gobbled down his breakfast, grabbed his blue and green backpack and ran out the door.
He stopped running at Doomy Tateishi's house, which was right next-door. He casually walked in, knowing that Doomy's parents wouldn't care, he was like a son to them. He snuck into Doomy's room only to see her on her hot pink laptop. "Happy Birthday!" Kai shouted, surprising her. "Thanks! You ready to go?" she said, grabbing her turquoise and purple backpack. "Yup! Let's go!" Kai said excitedly. They ran through town and onto the well known Route 201.
Kai and Doomy ran onto a path on Route 201 that led to Lake Verity, that was made for young kids without Pokemon. As they ran through it they came across a sleeping pack of wild Bidoof, blocking the path. "What do we do?" Doomy whispered. "I don't know, maybe we should try to wake them up and scare them" "That will make them even madder! Do you think we can step over them?" "Let's try" Doomy quietly stepped over the Bidoof and turned around to watch Kai. Kai tried to follow in Doomy's footsteps but accidentally slipped and landed on a Bidoof. The Bidoof woke up, startled then suddenly began to get mad. Then all of the others in the pack began to wake up and become enraged at Kai. Doomy suddenly grabbed Kai's hand and started running, dragging Kai in the process. The disturbed Bidoof began rushing after the terrorized kids. Doomy and Kai's adrenaline was rushing through them as they climbed up a tree and waited for the Bidoof to calm down. The Bidoof angrily tackled the tree over and over. Suddenly, there was a huge cracking sound and the tree tumbled down. Doomy pushed Kai down and jumped. They landed with a thud on top of another Bidoof. They scrambled up and the chase started again. But this time the vexed Bidoof cornered them and Kai picked a huge chunk of tree bark out of his hair and threw it into the crowd of irate Bidoof. The hungry Bidoof began to push over each other trying to get to the piece of tree bark. Doomy took the chance to sneak away and she flicked Kai's ear. "Come on!" she whispered. Kai ran alongside Doomy along the dirt path.
They eventually made it to Lake Verity and Kai looked at his watch and realized that they were late, but maybe the Prof. won't notice. Professor Rowan set up the pokeballs in his signature suitcase as Kai and Doomy approached. "In tradition of your Johto origin, I have decided to give you Pokemon from Johto I received from my colleague Professor Oak" the professor said, knowing that Kai and Doomy moved to Sinnoh from Johto. They looked eagerly at the red and white pokeballs wondering what type of Pokemon they would get. Professor Rowan noticed them staring at the pokeballs. "You won't be getting those Pokemon" he said. Doomy looked over to the Professor, "WHAT?" she screamed so loud that a flock of Starly flew out of the forest. Kai just looked confused. "Your Pokemon are in their pokeballs somewhere in the forest, they are marked with special symbols, Kai yours is a triangle and Doomy, yours is a heart" he smiled "Now go ahead and find them, I'll wait here". Kai and Doomy ran into the lush and leafy forest.
