Have you ever wondered...what it would be if everything that you ever knew and loved...was destroyed, and you needed to survive within it's remenants?
No?
Sadly, that was what the Mobian Race was living at this moment.
One year ago, Dr Eggman attacked over the all the world, kidnapping people to send them to the Death Egg, and sending robots to destroy the biggest cities.
It was all a big nightmare, a nightmare where we couldn't wake up.
But now would you ask, "Where is Sonic the Hedgehog"?
Well, that name hasan't been heard in a long time, not since the day Eggman attacked.
Eggman made a new abomination appear. Sonic normally defeated them very easily, but this time...that "thing" defeated Sonic like if he was nothing.
At this point, he could be dead.
Now the world was just nothing more than Ruins of a civilization, slowy reaching the point of no return to it's former glory.
Maybe some cities were still in there, maybe just for Eggman purposes...who knows.
But even then, there were still people fighting, they were known as "The Resistance"
But of course, there wasan't any proof that they do existed.
But who knows...in the end...the only thing you need is to hope. And even the smallest light will appear...
Location - Avenue Park:Twilight Plaza 6:43 PM
The Plaza was normally a place where you could go out and sit around to be with the people.
Now it was just a deserted battleground that somehow, still wasan't destroyed.
A shadow appeared then on the center of the plaza, that got the sign of the city on it.
Then it appeared the figure of a wolf.
He looked like a red, young wolf, his fur was kinda burned out, his white gloves filled with dirt, and his shoes almost broken completly.
His eyes were yellow, almost gold.
He lived in Avenue Park, it was home to him.
When Eggman attacked, he refused to leave, so he just hided somewhere near his "House".
That house could be destroyed now, he didn't knew.
And honestly, he no longer cared.
His life since the attack was monotone...
He ran away from robots. He searched for food that still was edible in the malls. He ran away once again. He would find then a spot to sleep.
And then restart.
He only wanted to survive.
In the Plaza, he was walking in circles, as an old song was on his mine,
his whole mind was so lost in though, that he didn't saw an Eggman Robot appearing, looking at him.
Eventually, he notices the robot, and with a scared look, looks how it starts charging it's weapons at him.
"D-Damn..."
He slowy started to run away, he has tried to fight them many times, and everytime, more of them came, again and again, until he realised fighthing them alone was useless.
As he ran away, he could see not only one, but various robots were following him.
The robots started to shoot at him, and the wolf, with difficulty, tried to dodge them, until he falls over a wall and arrives to a dead end.
The Robots were getting closer, and the only thing the wolf could do was shiver in fear, praying for his life, as he closes his eyes.
But then, he hears the sound of metal, and battle cries.
He slowy open his eyes to see a red echidna in front of him.
"Well, were these the robots giving the signal?...huh?"
The Echinda turns himself around to face the wolf, a faint smile grew on the echidna's face.
"Seems like this isn't your day Pal"
The Echidna helps the Wolf get up, as the wolf was with a mix of happiness and fear.
"I'm Knuckles the Echidna, one of the members of The Resistance, and i think you will be better at our base than out here"
The Resistance...
This meant that the rumors were true, and a group of people was truly going against Eggman!
Knuckles the Echidna...he has saved Mobius and Earth along with Sonic the Hedgehog and his other friends...
"Well Rookie, i think you should come with me"
Location:Avenue Park - Underground Base
Going down an industrial elevator was a first in the Wolf's Life. As the elevator reached the bottom, Knuckles showed the Wolf were to go in the small base, until they reached a door at the end of the corridor.
The Wolf could hear some voices...
"What was doing a wolf in the town?, i though everyone was gone." Said a young female voice. "It seems like he found a way to elude Eggman and that monster" said a deep, male voice "Knuckles should be bringing him here now..." said a male, yet kinda young voice.
Knuckles opens the door, as him enters the room, with the wolf behind him.
"Is good to see that nothing happened while i was outside."
Knuckles then looks at the Wolf, that was behind him.
A two tailed fox started to walk torwards the Wolf.
"Hi!, My Name is Miles Prower, but my friends call me Tails"
Miles Prower...yes, another friend of Sonic the Hedgehog. Everyone in the room was his Friend, actually. There was a purple chamaleon, a cocodrile, a bee, a pink hedgehog, a black hedgehog, and a white Hedgehog.
Slowly, The wolf shakes the hand of Tails.
"This is our base, i helped build it after Sonic Dissapeared,even when he is gone, we are still fighthing onward...Oh!-says Tails, like remembering something-i forgot...what is your name?"
After being overwhelmed with the presence of people in months, having to mutter his name again after so many time was like a dream.
"My name...-starts meakly-...My Name is Gadget, Gadget the Wolf.
"Well Gadget-says Knuckles-Welcome to The Resistance!-says as he pats Gadget's back with his glove, making him almost fall to the ground.
This wolf was in for a ride.
