After the Meltdown::
Ugh.. what is up with this damn blasted sun. I covered my face with the
pillow and groaned.
Soon I heard giggling coming in from the hall.
Oh great even worse.
It was them .
I mean they weren't bad but being at the ages of 4(Chloe) and 5(Jared)
was annoying as hell.
Suddenly there was jumping on my bed.
"Mommy!! Mommy! Mommy!"
"What is it?" I said groaning.
"I want to play!"
I looked at the clock.
It read 8:00 AM.
"Ugh Chloeee. Not now.. Mommy's tired."
"But Jared is hungry and i want to play... Please mommy!!"
" Fine.."
I get up out of bed and pick her up.
She giggles as I tickle her sides.
I took her into the kitchen and set her down on a stool. Jared was sitting
on another bar stool waiting patiently.
I ruffled his dirty blonde hair and he grinned.
"What would you like for breakfast Jared?"
"Honey Nut Cheerios please!!"
"I want some too please!" Chloe chimed in.
I took out two bowls out of the cupboard and set them down in front of
them.
Then I went looking for the cereal box.
I heard a click and I knew someone just came in. Next thing I knew two pairs of arms were wrapped around my waist.
"Hey babe! How was your jog?"
"Splendid. How was waking up at normal people time?"
"Not so splendid."
I turned around to face her.
God... Spencer is so beautiful.
After 8 years of marriage, we still were experiencing new things.
I kissed her and just when things were beginning to get a little heated
two voices rang out.
"EWWW MOMMY IS KISSING MOM!!!!"
Jared and Chloe run out of the room making fake gagging noises.
I lean my forehead against Spencer's. She smiles at me.
This is how it should be... Just... Perfect.
