This is a oneshot inspired by the song "River Lullaby" in the Prince of Egypt movie. Its about Naruto's last lullaby from his mother and... well just read. Lyrics are underlined and bold. I cried as I wrote this, only cause my mind's like a movie theater and I can imagine this clearly.
Mommy's Lullaby
Why did Kami do this to him. He gave my baby life but took mine and his father's. My boy will be alone so the least I can do before the darkness swallows me is give him a lullaby to calm him.

Don't cry my baby boy. Don't cry when you feel alone for mommy is always there. Don't cry when you feel like noone cares because mommy always will.

My baby boy will you remember this song? Will you remember it as you dream? Will you have a memory of your mommy? Or will you grow up knowing nothing about me or your daddy?

So much like daddy it hurts. You are a handsome boy and will make a fine man. I can see you and am smiling knowing that you'll be strong. Your so peaceful, so different from the beast.
