(AN: I do not own the Bible. ...obviously)


I wish the bible had a synopsis.

That way things would be easier to explain.

That a perfectly innocent man died for you.

So people wouldn't need to search for it.

That it would read, trust in Him and you will have no more suffering.

To lessen people's pain.

But also that the life of a disciple isn't easy.

That they endure a period hardship and abuse before things get better.

That in order to serve God they must give up everything.

They can't idolize anything else, he must come first.

That they can't say curse words because they represent Christ everyday.

That they have to love and forgive because even though we have given him no reason to, God forgives us.

That you cannot speak of impurities, or have relations without marriage.

That homosexuality is a sin, but it is just as bad as disobeying your parents in God's eyes.

That yes there are things you can't do.

But in the end it doesn't even matter.

That you shouldn't care about these things because in the end God is all that matters, and eternal life in a perfect world is all we should aim for and it's all we should live for.
