Trunks was the young age of eight but already knew he loved her. Marron was three and knew that one day she would be his wife. The meadow was there place from the rest of the world.
"Trunks, pick those flowers over there," Marron demanded.
"They smell really good but we should head back," Trunks smiled.
"I don't want too!" Marron screamed.
"Fine," Trunks frowned.
Marron ran from him and laughed with excitement. Trunks followed her and ran just enough behind to keep an eye on her.
"You know what your punishment is from running from me?" Trunks asked.
"Oh know not that!" Marron yelled.
"Yes that," he answered.
Trunks tickled Marron until she went red in the face from laughter. It was time for lunch and he scooped her into his mighty arms. Marron felt the happiest in her short life at moments like that. Trunks felt her love for him and it made him smile. Eighteen had lunch for the children. The two ate has fast has they could and ran around the house. Marron gave her mother the flowers she had collected in the meadow.
"They are pretty and thank you," Eighteen said.
The pair played with toys and games until around three o'clock.
"I have to go home," Trunks said.
"NO!" Marron cried.
"Marron, stop that crying and say goodbye to your friend," Eighteen stated.
Marron walked up to him, gave him a hug.
"Bye Marron I will miss you," he whispered.
She gave him a little kiss on the lips. Trunks cheeks went completely red.
"Where did you learn that from?" Eighteen asked.
"From you and daddy," Marron answered.
"That's ok and goodbye," Trunks said.
He walked out the door and flew home. Marron ran after him and cried at the ocean shore of the island. Eighteen knew that Marron loved him and he loved her. Many many years into the future the two would remember that day and laugh.
