TENCHI MUYO! (NO NEED FOR TENCHI)
No Need for a Helping Hand

One afternoon in the Masaki household, Mihoshi was doing her nails, when Washu emerged from her lab. "Have you seen Tenchi?" Washu asked. "I need his help with something."
"He's still at school," Mihoshi said.
"What about Nobiyuki?" Washu asked.
"Work," Mihoshi said.
"Katsuhito?" Washu asked.
"Meditating at the temple," Mihoshi said.
"Kiyonne?" Washu asked.
"She went shopping," Mihoshi said.
"Ryoko?" Washu asked.
Mihoshi said nothing, just made a motion of knocking back a bottle of sake.
"Oh, I see," Washu said. "Something tells me waking her up probably won't be such a good idea."
"Yeah," Mihoshi said.
"What about Aeka?" Washu asked.
"She went shopping with Kiyonne," Mihoshi said.
"How about Sasami?" Washu asked.
"She and Ryo-Ohki are in the garden picking carrots."
"So, it's just you and me here right now?" Washu asked.
"I guess so," Mihoshi said.
By now, Washu was desperate. "I don't suppose you'd be able to help me?" Washu asked.
"I guess," Mihoshi said. "I guess my nails are dry by now."
Great," Washu said.
==5 minutes later==
"Thanks for programming my VCR, Mihoshi," Washu said.
"You're welcome," Mihoshi said. "I don't know why everyone says programming a VCR is so hard. I can do it in my sleep."
