Title: Lust vs Love.

Pairing: Willow Rosenberg/Kennedy, Buffy/Spike.
Characters: Willow Rosenberg, Kennedy, Buffy Summers, Spike.
Author's Notes: Dealing with the deadly sin of lust can be a very hard one to cope with today- here the characters mostly discuss their dealings with that desire: mating desire is natural, but lust is excessive and doesn't percieve the other as a human being but rather as a sexual object for one's pleasure.
Summary: Temptations towards lust cause problematic discussions for some of the Scooby Gang and their friends. Please read, review/comment, and enjoy.
Chapter 1.): "Is this really love or is it merely sexual desire?"
Beginning Chapter 1 Author's Notes: This: [text] will refer to the character thinking a prayer, or being tempted, or telepathy.
Kennedy was running over her relationship with Willow in her head, oh, she had fun with her, no doubt about that; and she distinctly felt attraction to the redheaded woman, but "was it really love or was it merely sexual desire?" she thought, wondering.
Her friend, Rona headed into the kitchen where the Latina was working, trying to keep the thoughts of getting naked with Willow out of her noggin- it had been fun with her, when they were alone, but she didn't want to be turned into some kind of a gay slut "Would that make me a lesbian slut?" she wondered, afraid of being a bad girl, and afraid that she already was!
As she considered her situation, she thought about all the other relationships she had ran across there: Spike was pretty clearly Buffy's boyfriend, or was he her lover? Kennedy wasn't really quite sure right now; but she was sure he was handsome, and if she were into guys, she'd make a move on him in a heartbeat- that's if she were, and that would most likely cause a horrendous catfight between her and Buffy!
Right about then, Buffy walked into the room, and opened the fridge. Kennedy was curious, and as she watched her secret heroine, she spotted her take a yogurt out of the fridge and start sturring and then eat a spoonful of the fruited dairy product. "So, she was hungry for yogurt." Kennedy mulled around in her head, interested. She loved this woman, but in a way she loved her half-sister, Rebecca.
After a few minutes the two of them started talking, Buffy stated she had heard what was going on in the room Kennedy shared with Willow. "While Will's a grown woman, and you're clearly over the age of consent, with the presence of younger girls here, I don't approve of loudly engaging in sexual relations where the other potentials can run across the intercourse by accident." Buffy stated.
Initially Kennedy was angry: what business of it was hers?! But something else made Kennedy want to know more about Buffy's thoughts, something in her voice, and Kennedy couldn't lay a finger on it, but she heard it clear as day, that Buffy knew all about lust. "How dare you? I and Willow love eachother!" Kennedy practically called Buffy out on it to a fight, but that didn't happen.
"I don't want to fight you, Kennedy, I know your darkness... I know it because I share it too: Spike is the fellow who tends to fill the same role that Willow does to you. This evil will mess you up. I tell you this because I love you and her, and I know that the two of you love eachother too, and I don't want to lose anymore friends to evil... it's got me using my strength to dig the graves of my friends!" Buffy said, ending it as a shout.
