Azula was never the stargazing type. It was Zuko's idea to sleep under the stars. And he seemed to be enjoying it just good and well. Azula on the other hand just wanted to get back inside the palace.

"It's cold out here." Azula muttered.

"You're just making stuff up so you can go back inside." Zuko replied as he lie down in the grass.

Azula sighed and ripped out a handful of grass. She hovered directly over Zuko and blew it in his face. The little green strands fluttered down littering his hair and decorating his cloths.

"Oh no, you're all covered in grass, we better go inside and fix that."

Zuko brushed himself off. "Nice try, Azula. But we're sleeping under the stars tonight." He took her hand and tugged her to the ground.

"I hate grass. It's too…grassy." Azula grumbled. She looked back up at the stars. She pointed at a cluster of stars, "that one looks like you riding a turtleduck."

"We're stargazing not cloudgazing."

Azula shrugged. "Just because you don't have an imagination don't mean I don't."

"Oh yeah…well that one looks like you…like you um…okay it doesn't really look like you at all."

Azula sighed "dum dum." She yawned and rolled onto her stomach. "This is the most uncomfortable…"

Zuko tugged a blanket over the two of them and draped his arm over her shoulder. "You'll get over it."

"We'll see." Azula muttered, pulling her hair out if its updo, a wash of black hair fanning over her shoulders and the ground.

Zuko ran has fingers through the dark strands.

Without lifting her head she took hold of his hand. "Can't sleep with you doing that…"

He rolled his eyes, and kissed the back of her hand. "Goodnight."

"Mmmhmm." Her voice came out muffled by the blanket.

Zuko himself simply wasn't sleepy yet, he watched his sister drift into a soft of half sleep and then eventually into a sound sleep.

"And you complained about how this was stupid and you'd never get to sleep." Zuko. "I love you but you're a pain in the ass. And you need some serious help."

He paused. "I'm really glad you decided to join me. But I could do without the complaining…seriously you're insane, you annoy the hell out of me, and I don't know why I love you. I don't even know why I like you."

"You love me because without me you're life would be a dull, boring void. And I'm sure Mai wouldn't help." Azula pointed out.

"You were awake the whole time!? You heard all of that."

"One way or another I hear everything you say Zu-Zu." She looked up.

Her brother's face was already a bright red.

"Oh, don't look so distraught. You've said dumber things to me when you knew I was awake."

"When did I ever…"

Azula cut him off. "All the time Zu-Zu. All the time."
