There are currently two things in my life that I'm absolutely sure: One, the Wincotts are most definitely not human Two, I know Luca Wincott even though I've never met him before today ...and I can't remember how. — "Just who exactly are you?" I mutter softly, hoping that I wouldn't give away my nervousness. He smirks, "Just think of us as your protectors, princess."

I felt blood trickling down from my forehead.

My whole body ached and I was slowly losing conscious.

I was attacked. But I didn't know who, no... what it was.

It wasn't human.

I only saw red eyes.

Blood red.

I can hear someone calling out to me. A voice so close yet so far.

But I can't move.

Am I dying?
