Being late.

I was walking down the sidewalk minding my own business when I noticed a little drop of water hit me. I had forgotten that it MIGHT rain today. Yet I was in a hurry so I picked up speed and darted towards the area that I was suppose to be at. By this time the rain had picked up and it looked like a storm was coming. So I had to really hurry to get inside. I then saw the meeting place a tiny restaurant. I quickly opened the door and saw HIM sitting there with an opened menu. I realized that my white cream blouse was soaked and my light green skirt was now dark green. My make up was running and everything. But I didn't let that bug me so I walked over to my date who looked a little pissed off and I can't blame him, if I were him I would be too. I sat down and smiled.

"What took you?" he asked in a cool voice. I could tell he was waiting for a while.

"Sorry, I woke up late and then I tried to leave but then a bunch of things got in the way, I am so sorry, Gary," said as he stared into my eyes.

"And, can you explain what happened to your clothes?" he asked as I pointed outside as the rain was falling even harder. "Ah, yes I guess the rain got you huh?" he said with a little laugh.

"Ya, kind of," I said laughing. "But man did it feel great!" I said laughing. "But now then onto the reason that you asked me here," I said happily as he shock his head and smiled.

"Right then," he said taking a little box out of his pocket. He held it up to me and handed it over to me. I looked at it and opened it. Inside was a little white stone no bigger then my thump. I picked it up and smiled. It was no normal rock but a rock that if you give it to a person you care about they will be with you FOREVER. It can be a very evil stone if you find out that you don't want to be with that person. I blushed has he held up another stone much like mine.

"…Thanks Gary I will try," I said as he smiled and put his stone away. I noticed two little holes in the stone. He handed me a piece of string and I tired it together around my neck where it will stay forever. The name of the stone is called the 'Missing heart Stone'.
