Red Ranger in Love
"Ugh look at this mess!" Kendall said to herself as she ran her fingers through her hair. She had originally come down to the base to do some work alone in the piece and quiet; but now that doesn't seem to be the case much to Kendall's of the Dino charge base was clean as far as Kendall could see; well except maybe for one corner which had a trash can overflowing with crumpled up pieces of paper. Shaking her head Kendall tried to think what kind of slob left this mess for her to clean up. As she got closer to the trash can Kendall knew for a fact that Shelby didn't leave this mess. Plus Prince Philip was never around so he couldn't have done it; heck Kendall didn't even know where Ivan was and quite frankly she didn't even care despite the fact that they were teammates.
That only left Chase,Koda and Tyler; Kendall could feel her cheeks reddened at the mention of Tyler's name but she quickly shook that thought out of her head. " He would never fall for a girl like me. I'm too much of a nerd" Kendall said out loud to no one in particular. But Kendall heard that nagging voice in the back of her mind say "that's what you think." As Kendall began tidying up around the trash can she couldn't help but read the bits of writing on the scraps of paper; some read Roses are red violets are blue I have my eyes on you but you don't know yet now do you? Another piece of paper said you are so beautiful you are my light; and then another piece of paper said I will never leave you out of my site. Then something red next to the trash can caught Kendall's eye; upon further inspection Kendall discovered that it was a rose.
Kendall's face contorted into a look of confusion who would leave such a nice beautiful rose next to a trash can for someone else to throw out. She never thought for one moment she'd have someone fancying her; as Kendall sniffed the rose she closed her eyes savoring its scent. But in all seriousness who was falling for someone like her; was it Chase Kendall immediately shook her head because he never showed her any affection and the reason was simple he was chasing after other girls trying to get their attention. Kendall knew that it couldn't be Ivan because he never showed any interest in her and she certainly didn't show any interest in him. Maybe it was Prince Philip that's preposterous Kendall thought to herself because he spent more time at his mansion than at the base. Then then that leaves Riley and Koda Kendall mused to herself; but immediately dismissed the idea as crazy for one simple reason Riley didn't even look like he was interested in girls let alone someone like her and besides Koda was still relatively new to the world so he didn't have time to be looking for someone to spend his life with.
Then that left only one person and that was Tyler Navarro. Again Kendall felt her cheeks heat up at the mention of the red Dino Ranger; and again Kendall tried to tell herself that she had no feelings for red Dino Ranger but yet again her mind tried to betray her yet again by saying "that's what you think. You don't know till you ask him."
With her cheeks still burning up Kendall finished her task of cleaning up and throwing out the trash. Then she grabbed the red rose and left the base. On her way out of the museum she ran into Shelby just as she was finishing giving one of her tours around the museum. "Hey Shelby have you seen Tyler anywhere?" Kendall asked. "Now that you mention it Kendall" Shelby stated but then continued to say " he left out of here in a hurry I think he said he was going to the beach." Shelby watched as Kendall rushed out saying "thanks Shelby that means a lot." Shelby also noticed a red rose in Kendall's hand; "who would give Kendall a rose" Shelby thought to herself when suddenly a small smile appeared on her face. "I can't believe he finally did it" Shelby said to herself as she raced to tell the other Rangers.
Meanwhile on the beach Tyler Navarro was pacing back and forth. Trying to decide what to do and what to say to the one girl he had a crush on. But what Tyler didn't know was that his secret "crush" was hiding not to far away hiding behind a tree listening to every word he said. Arriving at the beach Kendall spotted Tyler pacing back and forth on the beach in somewhat obvious distress. Kendall then quickly hid behind a tree so she wouldn't be seen. "Why on earth would she like a guy like me anyways" Kendall heard Tyler rant. "She probably likes someone else like Chase perhaps" Tyler said frustratedly. Then Tyler continued to say "whether or not she likes me; I like her and I wouldn't fall in love with any girl but her." "She's beautiful the way she is I don't even care if she is a nerd. Any guy that didn't fall in love with her charm and beauty would be a fool."
"And what does that make you Tyler?" a voice behind him said. "Huh!?" Tyler said as he spun around just in time to see Kendall step out from behind the tree. "Ugh hey Kendall what are you doing here?" Tyler stammered his cheeks reddening ever so slightly; Tyler then saw the rose in Kendall's hand and his cheeks were probably feeling like hot coals because he could feel the heat radiating off of them. Kendall could see Tyler's cheeks reddening like crazy; she could even feel her own cheeks heating up. Then Kendall thought to herself "i guess Tyler really does like me"; Kendall then heard her mind say "I told you so." Finally able to regain his voice Tyler said somewhat nervously to Kendall "did you hear everything I just said?" Kendall merely nodded her head in response and watched as Tyler looked down at his feet. The secret was out there was no turning back he had a crush on Kendall Morgan; but he didn't know how to tell her. But before Tyler could say anything Kendall beat him to it. "I like you too Tyler" Kendall said; "wait what!?" Tyler said astonishingly trying to process Kendall's answer.
Kendall laughed at Tyler's shocked expression and continued to say "I've always had a crush on you since the first day I laid eyes on you. I just thought that you would never like a girl like me. But when I found the scraps of paper you left behind along with this lovely rose it made me think otherwise." Kendall then stepped even closer to Tyler so there was only little to no space between them. "Well that's interesting to know Kendall" Tyler started to say."How so Tyler?" Kendall asked. Now with their lips only inches away Tyler continued to say " I thought you would have laughed at me or something; and thought I was crazy or something. But I am certain of one thing though." "And what's that Tyler?" Kendall said curiously. "That I am in love with you Kendall Morgan" Tyler said with a smile. "Well that's good to know because I am in love with you Tyler Navarro" Kendall said closing the gap between them and kissing Tyler squarely on the lips. It took Tyler a few minutes to respond to Kendall's kiss; but when he did he kissed her with all the passion he had. The pair was so caught up in their passionate kiss that they didn't watch where they were walking and they tripped into the water.
When Kendall and Tyler reemerged from the water the two looked at each other and laughed it off. But later at the Dino base Kendall was working on something that she wanted to work on earlier; when suddenly Tyler appeared shirtless. This caused Kendall to stop and stare and when Tyler caught Kendall's wandering eyes. Chuckling as he put on his shirt Tyler said "Like what you see Kendall?" Burying herself back into her work Kendall mumbled "I have no idea what you're talking about Tyler." Appearing behind his girlfriend Kendall Tyler wrapped his arms around her waist said "Oh really Kendall admit it you liked what you saw. You like seeing me shirtless admit." Tyler watched as Kendall shook her head in a no motion. "Ok that was your last chance Kendall so don't say I warned you" Tyler said as he ruthlessly tickled Kendall's sides. Kendall tried her utmost hardest not to die laughing because she wanted to prove Tyler wrong. But slowly it became all too much for Kendall and she died laughing. Through her laugher Kendall said "Ok ok Tyler you win yes I enjoyed seeing you shirtless." Smiling in triumph Tyler said "See Kendall was that so hard"; he then kissed her and it didn't take long for Kendall to kiss him back.
