Sixteen year old Rika Nanoko stood at the edge of the building thinking of her last decision she'd lost so much in this one year

She lost her grandmother to illness and frailty of age, they had seen it coming awhile but it didn't help them.

Her mother was not around much to comfort her so she stood at the edge ready to end her life.

"I coming grandma" she said in a hushed voice about to take the step when she heard the sound of the door opening followed by foot steps coming towards her.

"Rika she's worried sick about you every ones looking for you." he said taking a couple of steps towards her. She spun around and struck him with a punch to the jaw but after she fell to her knees and started sobbing.

He came up behind her and wrapped her in his arms telling her it was okay things will work out and that's all she needed was to hear some words of comfort, she broke down into sobs with him rocking back and forth, telling her it was okay to cry telling her it didn't make her weak and that you cant keep it bottled up.

They sat on the roof all the way threw the night watching the stars glisten in the night sky and when she'd fallen asleep he carried her home where it would start for the better.
