Rage burned through every fiber of his being. He wanted to give in to that. He truly did.
However, Ed knew that he could not lose control. Too much depended on him keeping things together, to keep his anger locked inside of him. Only when everything was over, only when things were back to the way they were supposed to be, only then would he allow the rage, and the rest of his demons, out of their confines.
Until such a day arrived, he would keep everything locked away. His brother needed him to keep his cool, even when there were times he let his emotions get the better of him, and Ed was an alchemist. He would do what was needed of him.
He would keep everything contained.
