Silent Shimmer

Silent Shimmer is a young filly who is talented at singing and writes her own songs. She begins going to a new school with a program for gifted young ponies and meets all sorts of new friends and a few enemies. This is the story of her life.

Silent Shimmer was a young mare aged at about 12. At her school many of the children had got a cutie mark except for a few who mostly hid that they didn't. She hid her true talents (by using coverup and paint for a less nerdy cutie mark)and was friends with Diamond Tiara and Sliver Spoon. There was a filly named Spring Sprinkles in her class that year. Silent always thought there was sonny hung wrong with spring because shewas very odd and hyper. somehow they became friends. Silent eventually heard about a special program at a school across town for ponies with unusual talents such as songwriting, painting, singing, dancing ect... And thought to herself this is my chance to showcase my talents for songwriting! She told Spring about it right away. "Wow! What's it called?" asked spring. "It's called Jump" They both decided to try to get in the program. That was the day that Shimmer wiped of the fake cutie mark and showed her true talent... Singing and songwriting.

After a year at Jump the two ponies knew almost everyone there. they weren't the most popular ponies, but had a large circle of friends. They're other best friend was named Cloudy sun. Unfortunately Spring began to feel left out as her friends spent more time with each other than her. She was feeling horrible about herself reflecting upon recent problems 'I'm such a looser... at my old school I was a freak and here my friends are drifting away. I don't even have a special somepony because WhenRocket rejected me I lost too Much confidence... As she cried her other friend Wind song came to talk to her. "What's wrong?" "its just my best friends dont want to spend time with me" "then you need to tell them that they're making you feel that way" Wind was always such a source of wisdom and helped her out of too many problems to count in the past year.

"...and that's why I've been so sad." Spring sprinkles looked at Silent and Cloudy. They apologized for making her feel that way and asked "we know we haven't spent enough time with you and were sorry so we wanted to ask you to join our band" She agreed.
