hey guys! thanks for all of the favorites! i usually write Percy Jackson, but i wanted to do something different today:) i wanted to dedicate this story to BookReader101, my best friend who really wanted me to write a HP fanfic:)
Harry awoke to a little redheaded girl repeatedly poking his cheek with her teddy bear, named Teddy, after her favorite god brother, hanging limply from her other hand.
Lily looked exactly like her mother; long, fiery hair, especially for a three-year-old, and soft brown eyes that were now filled with tears.
"What's wrong Lilybug?" Harry asked quietly trying not to wake his sleeping wife.
"Bad dream," she answered quietly. "Can I sleep with you and Mommy?"
Harry nodded and made to scoot over, but she had already started to clumsily climb over him. She snuggled in between her parents and clutched her bear closer to her. Harry pulled the covers up to her and kissed her forehead, smiling as she closed her eyes. Harry followed her lead and went back to sleep.
Ginny woke up to the sun shining through the window and saw her husband and daughter lying beside her in the bed.
Lily was sprawled across her fathers chest and Harry had his arms around her. Ginny wondered when Lily had come to their bed last night. She knew Lily had been having bad dreams, Lilly often ended up in their bed, and she always went straight to her father.
Lily would always be a daddy's girl, she had been since she was born. Harry was so good with all the kids, making Teddy feel as if Harry was his actual father, always knowing the best way to handle James when he acted too much like his namesakes, taking time from his busy auror schedule to spend time with Albus and teach him about the headmasters that he had been named after, always comforting Lily when she was scared or couldn't sleep.
Ginny continued to stare absentmindedly at her husband and daughter until her youngest son, a five-year-old Albus, ran into their room and jumped on the bed yelling," Mommy! Daddy! James turned the cat blue!"
Albus's parents just groaned. Not again.
