"James wait up!" Lily called.

"Oh come on Lily-pad keep up!" James said as he ran along the street.

James, who was in his 7th year of Hogwarts, had his Gryffindor Scarf on and red mittens to match along with a black coat.

Lily, who was in her 4th year of Hogwarts, had her Gryffindor scarf and mittens which were red like her brothers, she had a small grey knitted hat and a brown coat on.

The Potter's lived in Godric's Hallow. Just as their Father had once lived with his parents before they were murdered. It was Christmas eve.

James had decided to go out for a walk in the snow. His little sister Lily had asked to go with him and he gave into his little sister as usual.

"I told you if you wanted to come you had to keep up." James came to a sudden halt. In front of an old broken down and burnt house.

"I've never seen this house before." He said as Lily finally caught up with him.

The Potters, Harry, Ginny, James, Albus and Lily lived on the North side of Godric's Hallow. Harry and Ginny never allowed any of the three to travel to the south side of Godrics Hallow. They could never figure out why.

"Lily look." James said.

"What do you think happened."

"I don't know." James said.

"James there's a sign there. Brush it off." Lily said as she pointed to a snow covered sign next to the mail box. James brushed the snow off.

"What does it say?" Lily asked.

James was suddenly silent. "James what does it say!"

"The Potter's" He said in a hushed tone.

A tear fell down his cheek.

Lily looked at her brother and saw the tears start to fall from her brothers eyes.

"James, is this?"

"Yeah, it is Lil." He replied in a shaky voice.

Lily turned and saw a graveyard. She looked at James and then walked off towards the graveyard.

"Lily where are you going?" She didn't reply, she just kept walking. James finally caught up with her as she entered the graveyard.

"Lily don't just walk off like that." He said. She ignored her brother and began checking head stones.

"Lily, they won't be in here." She ignored him once more. James started to look around he came across a grave with the symbol of the deathly hallows on it.

"Lily, look at this." She walked over and looked at the grave stone.

"Ignotus Peverell" James read. "The first know person to possess the invisibility cloak."

"You mean the one you took from dad's trunk?" Lily asked.

"Yeah." James said with a bit of laughter.

"The only one out of the three brothers to be wise enough to ask death for a gift that would hide him from death." James said.

He continued to tell the history of the owners and how they came to be in possession of it. When he finished he turned around

"Lily?" He saw her across the grave yard standing as still as a statue in front of a grave. He slowly walked over and saw what the head stone said.

It stated their names and their birth and death dates.

"The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death" Lily said.

James looked at him little sister as a tear trickled down her cheek.

"Do you think it hurt?" She asked.

"No." He replied. "I don't think it did."

"How do you know?"

"I don't know."

"Do you think they ever thought for a second they may be killed."

"Probably. They knew what had been happening. They probably thought they might be." James replied.

Lily put her hands in her pockets and rested her head on her brothers shoulder.

Both of them had tears running down their cheeks. Their noses were as red as a rose, Both began to shiver.

"Merry Christmas James." Lily said quietly.

"Merry Christmas Lily." James replied
