We met when she was still young.
We played everyday.
We enjoyed each other's company.
She tells me every single secret. She tells me everything. Even the secrets her friends and family don't know of. Like for example, she is in a relationship with Houjo, the most popular boy in her school. Since she is an honor student, she wouldn't like her reputation to be stained.
That is until today…
"What is up with you, Kagome?" I asked as I lied down on her bed. Her soft-long jet-black hair swished as she turned around to give me a pout.
"Inuyasha!" She exclaimed. She gave off another smile and went back to doing her homework.
"You're secretly writing another letter to Houjo, aren't you?" I took the paper she was writing on and gave a small scan on it. It was a drawing of her. As of now.
"Inuyasha! Sit!" She ordered as I gently placed the drawing on the table again.
"Yeah, yeah." I answered and went back up to her bed.
She looked at me through her wooden chair, and grinned. "Go to sleep, I'll follow you later on," She said and went back to draw.
I roughly placed myself under the bed sheets, and closed my eyes.
And I landed on dreamland. It's a special privilege for dogs to sleep with their master. No one can complain to that.
"Inuyasha! Wake up!" Kagome screeched as she threw me off the bed.
"What the hell?" I gave her a glare and she just grinned. Kagome asked me if she looked 'okay' in her outfit.
How should I know? I'm not a girl.
"He. He," She giggled lightly and sat on her bed. "I'm going to the library today."
I didn't bother to respond.
"So, I should look proper, right?" She smiled.
She tied her hair in to a tight neat ponytail, brought a red bag with her and off she went out the door.
I'll be left alone again.
Before the door closed, she appeared again and gave me a look, "Won't you come with me? The library has a huge backyard. They allow animals there!"
"Huh? I'm joining?" I asked, a bit stunned.
"Now come on!" She clicked my collar to the strap and pulled me until we reached the front door.
"I love you, Kagome!" I barked out as she reached the doorstep.
She didn't move for a while and then she turned around.
"I love you too, Inuyasha!"
Oh, and how did the date go?
Kagome broke up with Houjo.
I will never have a chance for her to look at me. So until I lose my life, I'll protect her.

Yes. It is cheezy~ I thought of this while I was looking at my friend and her Golden Retriever (a girl though). Weird right?
