a/n: hey everyone! so this is my first fan fiction and I edited it bc it was so cringe-y lol so yeah i really wanted to make it better!

Tris POV
"Tris wake up," Tobias says lovingly.
I moan and I slowly get up. I see that Tobias is dressed already.
"What time is it?" I ask standing up and yawning in the process.
"8:05," he replies.
"8:05?! I have to get ready!"
"You get dressed and I'll go get us some breakfast," he says and gives me a quick kiss.
I walk to the bathroom and I turn on the shower. I take a fast one and then I brush my teeth. For my outfit, I pick out a pair of black shorts and pair it with a top that says "[weirdo]" and a black jacket. I brush my hair and let my blonde hair lose. I put on some black eyeliner, mascara, and a little bit of eyeshadow. When I'm done, Tobias walks in with some muffins and coffee.
"…aaand the time is 8:32," Tobias says looking at the clock.
"We should probably go now," I say stuffing my muffin in my mouth.
"Alright. Ready?" He asks.
"Of course I am," he gives me a quick kiss and we walk out towards the net.
We get to the net and thirty seconds later, a Candor girl hits the net and winks at Tobias; he has a disgusted look on him and I feel like she's going to be a problem.
"What's your name?" Tobias asks.
"Charlotte."
Tobias screams, "first jumper Charlotte!". She walks back to where the initiates are supposed to go while still staring my boyfriend. I roll my eyes. How pathetic. Eight more initiates come down into the net and the Dauntless-born come last.
Charlotte was stuck up and she was from Candor, Lara was a nice sweet girl that has a tough attitude in her. She was also from Candor. Lilly was a shy girl that does not have a lot of strength and seems like she has rethought her decision for picking Dauntless; I have a feeling she's going to be last in the rankings. She came from Amity. Joseph is quiet but has a lot of strength in him and I think he will be in the top. He was from Abnegation. Jack was a loud-mouth from Erudite. I think he will befriend Charlotte. Ben was just the same as Lara; nice sweet boy but has a lot of strength in him; he was also from Candor. Isabel was a very intelligent and strong girl, she will make it to the top of the rankings; I'm sure of it. She came from Erudite. Cindy was from Amity. She does not look like she is from Amity; like she belongs in Dauntless. She was also really mean. Andy was from Abnegation. He might be able to pass initiation but I'm not one-hundred percent sure. The Dauntless-born initiates were Zoey, Kevin, Ashlyn, Van, Hayden, Jared, Astrid, Wyatt, and Kristin.
"My name is Four and this is Six," Tobias says motioning toward me. We exchange glances.
"We will now show you the Pit," He says gesturing toward it.
"It's called the Pit?" Charlotte asks snickering. I tense and walk over to her.
"Do you want me to go to the leader of Dauntless and ask him to change it?" I snap. I hear some ooohh's. First, she looks a bit scared, but hides it with a stern face. "Why don't you?"
"Excuse me? You shouldn't talk back to you instructor like that," I practically spit the words out to her while raising my voice. Everyone is quiet; I take that as a signal that the initiates are slightly scared of me. I walk back over to Tobias and we smirk at each other. We stop at the door to the Pit.
"Now this where we split the Dauntless-born and the initiates." Tobias says. The Dauntless-born disappear into the shadows and go to their separate dorms. Tobias and I open the doors to the Pit.
"We will now show you to your dormitories," I say. We walk through the Dauntless compound and I see them gawk at how big it is and how many shops there are. We stop at the dormitory and we tell them that training will start at 8:00 A.M. The initiates walk into the dorm and Charlotte stays back. When Tobias and I are about to leave, she squeezes his hand. I'm getting really annoyed now and before I can say anything else Tobias says to her quietly, "you really shouldn't hit on your instructor," I snicker.
"So you're playing hard to get I see," she says and tries to pull him closer to her.
"And here's where I draw the line," I say and I grab his shirt to pull him closer to me. For a moment we just stare at each other and we realize that Charlotte is still here. We kinda do a fuck it and we kiss. He puts his hands on my waist and I dig mine into his hair. We break away and Charlotte looks mad; she runs into the dorm slamming it shut.
We both laugh hysterically.
"Did you see the look on her face?" I say and Tobias is practically dying.
"She's really pathetic. Wow."
He slings an arm around my shoulders and we walk back to our apartment. As for the rest of the day, we just sit around and talk about today's events.
a/n: phew *wipes forehead* now that's better.
