Writer-this is a story about a largely overlooked charecter from Danny Phantom- Vlads Hogorams Maddie (shes so overlooked she isn't even on the charecter list)
The first that happened was the noise. Typing, beeping, electricity.
Then the sights. Blue, and numbers and bright flashing lights.
Then I heard him. Cheering and whooping in celebration.
Then I saw him, and it took all my instinct to not go after his ectoplasmic behind.
"Maddie?" he asked, and I answered"Plasmius" but I was shocked at my voice. It sounded more computerised, more fake. He smiled, revealing white fangs.
"the memory transfer worked," he said, "but you are not Maddie, my dear creation, you are just a hologram." and, when I didn't faint, I knew he was right.
"I created you with the intention of a personal assistant. Originally, without memories, the personality was too different from the original Maddie."
"so, if I'm not human, what am I? What is a hologram?" I asked, feeling humiliated. Maddie Fenton was a genius, but I didn't know what I am.
"Code, computers, colour," he stated."what ghost is in the surrounding 10 mile radius?" I tried to tell him I didn't know, but I said something completely different...
"Entity 10093, aka Skulker in approching locked portal. Do you wish to open gates," I asked, in my strange computerised voice.
"and the free will lock is on, you are th best Maddie ever- or second best to the original.
