A/N: A very random hyper-confused-wild-crazy ficlet that I wrote while listening to some wild and crazy music. Took 20-ish mins?I love the mood of it though. Set in their sixth or seventh year? btw…two more weeks till book 6!

Disclaimer: I don't own either Bellatrix Black or Rodolophus Lestrange and although I have good reasons to hate both, I like em with each other and think they're a perfect match. Get it? Got it? Good. : )

The music's a lot louder now but then again, it's also a lot softer when he's here. Maybe that's because he's here. It's not the big thing anymore, not the main attraction. He is.

Dressed in black, both of them, looking as if they're walking on water…it's really quite a sight.

Normally, you'd think they were darkness and nothing but. But now, still garbed in black, amidst the dark night, both shaking their long black hair to the music without a care in the world, they look stunning and nothing but

Her long hair is shimmering unnaturally tonight and very straight. Sleakeazy's done the trick but he doesn't care, she looks dazzling either way. Her dress has sequins on it, black ones, but it's not even the dress that gives her life, or the hair, or even the hint of eye make-up…she's always abhorred lipstick, he remembers. So what is it tonight? He thinks it may be the smile. It's been a while. But that's what really makes her glow. Dazzling.

She thinks he looks gorgeous. When does he not? But tonight, he's better than ever. Tonight he's not being putting on an act or flirting with other girls. Tonight, he has eyes for her and her alone.

And he has a good reason for it too. She hasn't been this vibrant in a while.

She spins around in circles and jumps around and grabs his hands and pulls him towards her and makes him spin with her.

And he gives her his devilish smile, a little taken aback though because he could never imagine her to be so wild and crazy on the dance floor. But she's full of surprises and she saves them for the most opportune moments…like right now.

He wraps his arms around her waist and she starts jumping without warning, hands flying and moving way up in the air, along with the rest of her. It feels better than flight and maybe his arms still around her are the reason for that.

He thinks he's in love with her. And there, another surprise! But somehow, it's not really that much of a surprise after all.

He knows she's enamoured with him, smitten by him, just swept off her feet by him, although she tries hard to not make it obvious because they both know what kind of ego he has.

Tonight though, she's the one who does the heart-capturing, the mind-blowing, the sweeping-him-off-his-feet. And he can bet that she's doing a better job than he's ever done at it.

He puts his hands in her hair to make her stand still because it's so hard to get a hold of her tonight. She's so hyper and so alive and just so crazy; it's driving him half crazy but he loves it. He wants to calm her but then he doesn't want to. Contradictions! He knows he's full of them right now and one can't quite blame him because of this strange role-reversal. It's insane and it's also amazing and that's the kind of mood she's in and that's the way he's feeling right now and the feeling's only heightened when she tangles her own hands in his hair and kisses him.

That's also his job, not to mention another surprise, but at the moment he's in no mood to complain.
