Ally had just gotten done with her first customer of the day.
She looked up from the cash register and saw Austin walking into the store.
She looked right at him and said, "Hey Austin! Are you ready to record my song today?" she noticed his face looked a little flushed.
He slowly walked over to the counter. He was wearing navy blue plaid pajama pants and a flannel that matched.
He started to talk, in a hoarse voice he said "Yeah, I guess".
Ally heard the pain in Austins voice and responded, "Woah, where's your voice?"
"I don't know, could you tell me?" He started to cough continuously.
Ally put on a concerned face. "Austin, you sound terrible. You should go home and get some rest".
"No, we have to record! I'm fine" Austin said.
In a concerned voice Ally said, "You could barely blurt that out! And you didn't even get dressed!"
Trish walked into the store.
"Trish! Good thing you're here!" said Ally.
"Can you do me a big favor?" Ally asked Trish.
Trish looked up at Austin and said "Aw, Austin you look awful".
"Gee, thanks…" Austin replied.
Trish then answered Ally's question, "Yeah, what can I do for you?"
"Can you watch the store? Get Dez and ask him to help you. I'm taking Austin home" asked Ally.
"No problem!" said Trish.
Ally thought of how bad of an idea this was but she had no one else to watch the store and Austin desperately needed her help.
They got to Austin's and Ally automatically told him to lie on the couch. She got him blankets and the remote. She leaned over and felt his forehead. "Oh, Austin you're burning up! I'm going to look for your thermometer" Austin just nodded his head okay.
Dez called Ally while she was searching.
Dez: Ally, where are you? I thought we were recording?
Ally: Dez! I'm at Austins. [You can hear Austin coughing in the background]
He's sick, as you can hear.
Dez: Ugh! We need to record this though! says Dez in an angry tone.
Ally: Well, that's not something we need to be thinking about right now!
Bye Dez! Ally hangs up the cellphone.
She found the thermometer and walked back to where Austin was.
"Open." He gave her a dirty look and opened his mouth. She placed the thermometer in.
It beeped and she read it to him. "101.8, you better stay right here". He tried to argue with her that he was fine. But, she won.
