Rose looked around in wonder as she appeared in a paradise like place.
She was in an open field, the sun was not too bright and she could feel the warmth on her face as she gazed at the trees in the distance.
She could hear water running, birds singing, and finally, footsteps.
She turned around just in time to see a man around her age, though his eyes showed much wisdom.
"Come, My Child, it is time to go Home" he said
And Rose, looking over her shoulder to see Damon and Elena one last time, watching time change, seeing Damon and Elena fight, almost dieing, then finally accepting one another years down the road and smiled, walking next to the not-so-strange stranger, heading into the light, the Warmth, heading toward Home.
