T'was the night before the Harvest
And all through the Quarter,
The witches were stirring
And Klaus's temper got shorter.
"These witches are plotting
and scheming against me!
I should kill them all.
Why, nothing prevents me!"
"Oh brother," said Elijah,
So calm and debonair.
"It's the holidays, relax,
And enjoy the crisp air."
"The holidays are about family
And soon you'll have a daughter.
No one should taint this
Festive time with a slaughter."
Then Rebekah leaned forward
And smirked with aplomb,
"Except for that time that
You drowned Tyler's mom."
So, Klaus took a deep breath,
And his heart grew three sizes,
As he decided to hold off
On his murderous surprises.
And so werewolf and witch,
Hybrid and vampire,
All gathered around
The warm yuletide fire.
So now in the Quarter
All are filled with good cheer.
And Klaus won't massacre anyone
At least not till the New Year.
