A drop of water fell to the endless ocean floor.
A boy woke up from his slumber with his eyes widen that it has never been before. It scratches its head and felt something soft, it felt like his own skin. Ears? Cat ears? He threw that thought away and look around. He saw nothing except endless darkness.
He stood up and touched the floor made out of water. It felt solid, the water is not its usual self. He stomp the ground and echoes was made. Not a single reaction. Annoyed plastered on his face as he punched the floor and it cracked.
" Welcome. " a voice resonate from the sky. A bright light suddenly appeared in a distance. He then cover his eyes. A girl with a goddess' appearance appeared in front of him. Smiling.
" You are ... oh my! You don't have a name yet. " she gasped lightly, didn't lose her creepy smile as he nods.
His face was expressionless, he then scratches his head before approaching the goddess. " But you will have one eventually. Let me introduce myself. I am the Goddess of Animals. I was given the order to resurrect you as a human. But it didn't work successfully. " he cocked his head to the side. Didn't understand what she is talking.
" It left a few part of your animal self. Your ears and tail. Hehe~ But its kind of cute for you. " the boy now noticed his tail that was swinging around behind him. It looks alive, when he touched it he quickly pulled back his hand. The tail was sensitive.
" You shall reincarnate by my name. In the world where there is monster, human and powerful beings alike. With your companion, who is a girl waiting for you out there, you shall venture through the world and find your mate to create a peaceful family. " he cocked his head again. Then, just live his life? Where is the story?
" We shall meet again. " she smiled one last time before disappearing along with the darkness around them.
The white haired cat boy was on a monument. A girl with her hand clasped together stared at him in awe.
" It was true... " she spoke up. She then cheered while jumping happily as the unnamed boy scratches his head again. Still clueless of what is going on.
The girl looked like 13 years old, she was wearing a rugged, brown outfit and a long white skirt. Her hair was light pink. Imitating a cherry tree on the first day of April.
" You came back! Keno! " she then hugged him as he look up at the sky. Wondering what would happen next.
He then began to speak. " Who ... are ... you ...? " she first gasped lightly. Then regain her senses after realizing something different.
" You must have forgotten about me since you just came back ... Okay! Your name is Keno! I am your master, Hanabira Yuzume! "
He tried to speak. But no words came out of his mouth. She smiled. " I guess you can't speak properly yet. Follow me! I will teach you how to speak like a normal person would! " she took his hand and started dragging him, without resistance. Keno followed Hanabira to her house.
