Marshall was out of town somewhere. he was close to jakes mountin and he didnt want to go back to the look out so he went up to jakes for the night. All the way up he was crying his eyes out swolen and blood shot. When he got there everest was siting on the porch with jake.
When marshall got out he walked up to them and they gretead him when they saw his eyes they huged him.They took him inside and sat him down on the coutch. Everest asked "what happend" he then explained what happend. Everest was in a mix of anger and sadness. Jake went into the kitchen to get them some tea. Everest sat with Marshall crying he then said "fuck chase I never want to see him again". Everest being sky's best friend was so mad that sky's would do that. "how could skye do that to Marshall she knows that he would never hurt her but, she hurt him thought everest.
Jake came in with the tea and said Marshall could stay for as long as he wants. Marshall slept on the couch and that night he had a nightmare. "where am I thought" marsh said. As he looked around he saw this morning when he left, when skye was eating outside her pup house. When chase walked up and kissed skye deeply she did the same. Marshall's blood was boiling as he watched them go into the house he walked over to listen. He heard chase say "what about marsh", he doesn't have to know I never loved him anyway. Marshall started yelling and crying. He heard his name being called. Marshall, Marshall, MARSHALL. He shot awake to see everest next to him. "are you ok" she asked "no I'm not I just- he was cut off by a hug from her. He started crying into her shoulder. When he fell asleep she snuggled up to him and fell asleep.
The next day Marshall and Everest went back to the lookout he found Ryder and then chase and skye walked over. Marshall pretended not to notice them. Ryder asked him "what happened yesterday". Marshall looked at skye and chase. He said in a some what amussed "they didn't tell you." Tell me what "Marshall told Ryder about the anniversary date, how he caught them, what they said, etc. Ryder then turned to his pups all the pups heard them. Ryder had a hurt face that turned to anger he asked them for their tags. But Marshall stopped him and said in a menicing voice " no I want them to feel the pain I feel and suffer that's their punishment. To face the team and stay on it". He then walked up to chase and punched him hard sending him flying. Skye screamed "stop!!!!" but Marshall grabbed his collar and punched his stomach with force still holding him. He then punched his face again. Chase could not fight back so Marshall just dropped him.
Marshall then said "I never want to talk to you again or see you only on missions other wise don't try". Marshall then walked up to Skye and said "same goes for you don't talk to me don't come near me, In case you don't know we're through. Skye teared up and ran to chase. Marshall then told Ryder he needed a drive.
Marshall hoped in his mustang (from the first story). He drove out of town and stopped at a cliff overlooking the ocean. Everest followed him in her snowmobile she sat next to him. There was silence until Marshall said "thank you". "For what" she asked. Just being there for me he said. She Leaned on him and said "Marshall I love you". He was shocked but just kissed her. He was finally happy.
