I do not own Danny Phantom.

Sam stared down at the faded paper attached to the antique notebook. Her mind seemed to wander away from the room with possibilities, many of which she couldn't understand why. She placed a strand of loose ebony hair behind her hair, still staring at the notebook laid open on her dark cherry desk.

Her thoughts simply did not want to be written, every time she drew the black pen towards the paper her thoughts would float away like the leaves in the fall. How she enjoyed each season, each was unique in its own way, bringing both memories of happiness and sorrow to mind.

Winter she enjoyed the most, the silence somehow comforted her, allowing her to freely think as she wandered the park during sunset, the wind nipping at her fingertips.

Spring was the renewal of life, each day she would bound down to her garden, anxious to see what new things awaited her.

Summer was carefree, being able to wear whatever attire she desired, while being cautious of the sun no less.

Falls colors always amazed her, new colors that she had never seen before practically everywhere she turned.

Sam carefully placed the pen down in the desk, rising from her leather chair and listened to the quiet sounds that her steps made as she approached the window. She sat on the crimson sofa, her purple eyes reflecting the stars. She placed her elbows on the overhang, resting her hands on top as she silently watched the night sky. The sun had not completely set, few streaks of orange loomed over the sky in a final retreat as black and blue conquered the sun. She watched as the lights began to turn on, signaling the transition from one city to another. The wind softly blew her hair about her and she smiled in pleasure, Mother Nature certainly knew how it pleased her, staring on to as far as her eyes could see.

Sam yawned, rubbing her eyes and glancing over to the digital clock that read one am. Her eyes were draw to a black and white figure streaming like a comet over the night sky. She realized that it was Danny, flying without a care in the world. Oh how she wished to fly, the ability to watch the earth from above seemed to be breathtaking by simple thought, she could only imagine its true feel. She smiled, allowing her thoughts to guide her into sleep while the wind died down as she embarked into the world of sleep.

This simply wanted to be written, this will remain a one-shot more than likely.

Review none the less, 'kay? ^v^
