Chapter 1

Attraction

Fleur had been busying around her new flat, decorating and cleaning. Today was her first day of work, and she was very nervous. She had recently moved from France to improve her English. She missed her parents and sister terribly.

Fleur gave her outfit a once over, it consisted of a light blue dress, that matched her eyes, and a pair of sliver heels. Perfect, she thought.

She pulled her silvery blond hair into a messy yet sexy bun. She was pleased with her appearance. However, Fleur always looked good, she was part Veela after all.

She grabbed her purse which carried her wand, money, and a few other necessities. She walked gracefully out of her flat, locking the door behind her, then Apparited in front of Gringotts. A borad smile spread across her thin pink lips, revealing her perfect white teeth. Her nerves went away, and all she felt was excitement.

She walked into the front door and spotted a Goblin. She quickly walked over to him. " 'Ello, I am Fleur Delacour, I am suppose to start work today," she said cheerfully to him.

He gave her a once over before replying. "Oh, yes, and you're a veela, right this way," he grunted leading her into the back.

"Well, yes my mother ees half-veela," Fleur explained.

"Makes no difference to me," he replied with a snort.

Why are zee Goblins always so rude, Fleur thought. The Goblin led her to a gold door.

"Go on in, your boss is probably waitin' on you. By the way, I'm Fitzpatrick," he said before running off to the front of the bank.

Fleur knocked softly before poking her head into the door. " 'Ello," she called out.

" Hello, come on in Miss Delacour," boomed a male voice from inside the room.

"So, Fleur did, closing the door behind her. She was stunned when she saw who the voice belonged to. There stood a tall man, around 6'3, with striking long red hair. He had a fang ear ring in one of his ears, and warm almond eyes with a handsome freckled face. He looked very familiar.

"Sir, do I know you?" she asked.

He smiled broadly. "I'm William Weasley, but you may call me Bill. I helped with the dragons during the Triwizard Tournament," he replied.

"Oh, you are Ron's older brother," Fleur exclaimed excitedly. He was the handsome man she had seen shortly after that horrible third task.

"Yes," he said nodding his head in agreement.

"But why are you here?" Fleur asked confused.

"Well I had to take a desk job for umm.. personal reasons," Bill said stammering slightly. It made Fleur giggle. "But why are you here Fleur, wouldn't it have been easier to get a job in France?" he asked.

"I would like to improve my English," she answered.

"Well in my personal opinion I think you speak it wonderfully. However, if you need a tutor I would be glad to help you," Bill said almost a little too eagerly.

"That ees wonderful," Fleur replied, giving him her best smile.

"Great, ummmm.. well lets get started. Would you mind looking over a few of these accounts? I'm horrible about making typos," he said with a small chuckle, pointing to a stack of papers stacked up on his desk.

"Of course, Mr. Weasley," Fleur replied, teasingly.

*I personally loooove this pairing. There should be more stories about the two. 3 Reviews, and I will post a new chapter.
