Author's Notes: After randomly having a daydream in Geometry class about
being Ponine, I got this inspiration to write this. It's my take on how
Ponine feels after her death and seeing Marius get over it, etc. So now
I'll shut up and give you the poem. Enjoy!

Eponine's Poem

I love you
Do you love me?
Or is there not enough room
For both Cosette and I?
I didn't think so
Never room for 'Ponine
She who wanders
And loves one man forever
I know you strive
TO be another Enjolras
But you can't
Because you are Cosette's Marius
You wanted to save me
That night not so long ago
But you forgot me
So soon
Anything for Cosette
Who never did anything for you
But jealousy is an earthly thing
And I am not of Earth anymore
I've grown up
Since I've left
But I still love you
And still in my death, you don't care.
