Stephanie/the Reflections POV
I swiftly walked over Carol's remaining body, passing her reflection on the way. Carol's reflection stood staring at the once lifeless body that had now been burned to ash. Reluctantly the reflection did as Stephanie told her and went to find the hoover. As Stephanie exited the house she could hear the hoover being switched on and as it moved around the room, it was obvious that Crystal really was gone for good, all that was left was her reflection so no one would get any suspicions about what Stephanie had done.
I walked back home and let myself in. Mum wasn't home and neither was Baby Alice so I guess Mum had taken her for a walk. Dad was at work as always. Even though many things had gone wrong with my programming since Valkyrie had started to use me I had still managed to fool her that everything I did had been a mistake. I had managed to convince her that I really was the same reflection with no feelings or emotions but deep down inside I actually had a plan. I had a plan to bring Valkyrie down and I knew just the way that I was going to achieve my goal.
I knew that Valkyrie was off on another adventure with Skulduggery. They'd had a new lead in whatever mystery they were up to solving now. I didn't really keep track anymore about what it was. As Valkyrie had left earlier that morning I'd found Fletcher's number from Valkyrie's phone and scribbled it down on the back of an old homework assignment that I'd done. Now that I had that number I'd be able to call Fletcher. He'd never know the difference between me and Valkyrie. Although this plan might need a bit of tweaking done before I call him in considering the last time Valkyrie saw him he was going out with another girl.
Well, we'd get to that point sooner or later. I'd have to try and work a way of getting Fletcher on my side. If I'm going to take down Valkyrie once and for all I'd need the most powerful sorcerers on my side to help me do it.
Even though Fletcher might wonder why he is on the same side as some criminals I'll need to execute my plan he'll get used to the idea and I'll dispose of him anyway as soon as I'm done. My plan was finally starting to go underway. After plotting and planning away all those months during school lessons and when I was meant to be doing homework, I was finally beginning my plan. I can't wait to see the look on her face when she eventually figures out Crystal is a reflection. I bet it'll be priceless!
It's a shame I won't be sticking around long enough to see it but that's the way it is I'm afraid. I'm never going back to that horrible old mirror and if the second part of my plan goes correctly then all reflections will be free to do as they please. Everyone's reflection will roam free and take over the body they reflect. No real human beings will be left on earth. Just us reflections!
