No, shock isn't the right word. He was dead. Stone Cold Dead. How could Suuichi have done this? He knows that sometimes (okay all the time) he pushes Suuichi away, but he loved him. He loved Suuichi and didn't care who knew it. So what he didn't show it. So what he didn't act like one of those lovey-dovey boyfriends like on that stupid, that bachelorette show everyone keeps blabbing on about. Or even some of his characters in his books. He's not going to put up his dignity just so he can prove himself. He shows how much he loves Suuichi. All the time. Right? Right?
