So I'm sorry but this kinda just hit me kinda based on a roleplay with a friend of mine. Not fully but kinda. And if you want me to add more to it just let me know and I will.


John sat down in the subway train, leaning against the edge of the seat. His face showed the lack of feelings he felt inside, except for one emotion. Sadness. He got off the train, walking slowly, not really caring where he ended up. He looked at the park, the park he usually spent time with his best friend at.

He made his way over to the bench where their guardians would watch them as they played on the playground. He sat down and stared at the swings, hearing the giggling and laughing of children as well as the phantom laughs of him and his friend. Tears fell from his eyes as he quickly stood up and walked out of the park. He couldn't think about that now. he couldn't. Not emotionally.

He leaned against the wall of a downtown club, yet another place full of memories. Both good and bad. The music, the dancing, the laughing, the arguing, the yelling, the storming off, the car. He stopped there. He slowly slid down the wall, starting to sob. It was all his fault. Everything. He slowly sniffed his hoodie. It still smelled like him…. His cologne that he always wore for ironic reasons.

"Hey, Egbert. Why so down?" John jumped a bit and looked up, a figure hovering above him slightly, looking down at him. "And why are you wearing my jacket, you dork?" John stared up at the ghostly figure looking down at him and smiled slightly.

"Dave…"
