Emily's pov
"EMILY!" I hear someone yell at me.
Before I could turn around, I felt my self being pushed to the ground. A pained groan was heard as I saw Mike dimorph and fall to the ground. He saved me. He pushed me out of the way and got the blast himself.
"NO, MIKE!" I hear Mia shout.
"Emily, stay with him" Kevin yells at me. I nod and lean over Mike.
"Mike, come on, open those gorgeous eyes" I say trying to wake him.
It took a couple of minutes but he finally groaned causing a smile to spread across my face.
"Hey" I say still smiling.
"Hey" he says getting back up with a groan.
"Whoa, where are you going?" I ask sternly.
"To help them" he says slowly running off.
"oh, no" I say following him. This could end badly.
After we defeated the Nighlock's first life, we transformed into the MEgazord. It took a few minutes but we ended up defeating him as well.
"Samurai Rangers, victory is ours" Jayden says as we watch the Nighlock fall.
We all cheer, but when I look at Mike, he was swaying on his feet.
"Mike?" I ask before he collapses.
We all rush over to him and try to wake him up.
"I guess that Nighlock, really took everything out of him" Kevin says and everyone agrees.
When we arrive back at the Shiba house, mentor was already waiting for us. We quickly (yet carefully) place Mike on one of the beds and let Mentor do his magic. It was quiet in the hosue until I broke the silence.
"It's all my fault" I say quietly, looking down.
"Don't even say that" Mia reassures me.
"But, it is, if I had been watching what was happening, Mike would have never had to get in the way" I reply.
"Em, you don't get it do you" Kevin says sighing.
"What?" I ask confused.
"Mike will do anything to protect you" Mia syas.
"Yeah, but so would all of you, that's what we do for each other" I say still clearly confused.
I heard Jayden sigh before he starts to speak.
"Emily, when that Nighlock took your spirit, we had to physically pull Mike away from you to eat or sleep. He even got so mad that he was willing to go into the netherworld just to save you" I start to sob, not really knowing why.
"Why would he do that?" I ask through sobs.
"Because he's undeniably in love with you" Kevin states back.
At that moment, mentor came in and gave us all a weird look.
"I Don't know what happened her, but Miek is going to be okay, he's just in a lot of pain in hios back and is exhausted"
"Can we see him?" Mia asks. Please say yes!
"Of course" he says moving out of the doorway.
I quickly rush into the room, not caring of anyone else was coming.
"Mike!" I say happily ehrn I saw that he was awake.
I almost jumped on him when I gave him a hug.
"Wow, okay, ow, hi there" he says breathlessly and clearly in pain.
I giggle and pull away from him until I was just above his lips. I gently leaned down and moulded our lips together. It felt like hours but was probably was only a couple seconds before we broke apart breathlessly.
"What was that for?" he asks.
"Because I love you too" I say smiling as his eyes light up.
"Aw, look at that, they didn't even need our help" Mia says.
