Everything was quiet in the Forgotten City. The trees glowed brightly in the night yet that was a mystery to many of why they glow. You sat on the branch of one of the trees spying on the silver hair trio while Vincent was tending to Tsung and Elena's wounds. They were confronted by the trio and were hurt badly. Vincent, being an ex-turk couldn't help but help the fellow turks.

"Look at what brother was hiding." The leader of the trio said. He bent down in front of a metal box that revealed heaps of materia.

"Powers forged in the lifestream." He picked up one of the materia.

"With this materia; those powers will be ours." The materia merged with his arm and it glowed a blue light.

"This isn't good." You whispered to yourself as you jumped from tree branch to tree branch away from the enemy.

You did this till you felt you were safe enough to walk on the ground. You walked towards your destination knowing who would wait for you there.

Sure enough when you arrived there was Vincent Valentine sitting on the ground; his back against one of the trees. Vincent noticed your return and looked up at you with those red eyes of his.

"So, what are they up to Michelle?" Vincent asked in a deep voice.

"They somehow got a hold on some materia. It's not looking good for us." You answered.

"We have to warn Cloud before it's too late." Vincent said.

"I'm sure Cloud will be fine. Besides, if he gets into trouble then we can back his ass up." You said cheerfully.

"I guess we'll have to see." Vincent said.

"Don't worry about him." You said.

"Cloud is someone to worry about." Vincent said.

"Because he has mental issues?" You asked immaturely.

"That's one way to put it." Vincent said with a slight smirk on his face.

"Okay then, when we hear bullets we'll go okay?" You suggested.

Vincent just nodded.

"Michelle?" Vincent called your name.

"Yes?" You asked.

"I don't want you to check up on Kadaj anymore." Vincent said.

"Why not? I did it so to help you and the gang out." You said.

"I know that and i'm grateful. I just don't want you to get hurt." Vincent confessed.

"I know, I just want to help." You said.

"Just don't do it anymore." Vincent said.

"Are you saying this because i'm a girl? That's just plain rude if that's what you're thinking. I may be a girl, but i'm a good fighter." You complained.

"That's not the reason why." Vincent said.

"Then why?" You asked.

"Because..."

"Because why?" You placed your hands on your hips.

"Because I had deep feelings for you." Vincent confessed.

You were surprised by his confession. You're weren't expecting it at all even though in secret you had deep feelings for him too. You were afraid that he was still mourning for his first love Lucrecia Crescent.

"You love me?" You asked a little sacred.

"That's another way to put it." Vincent said.

You suddenly heard gunshots in the distance and Vincent rose to his feet.

"So, what about you Michelle?" Vincent asked.

"You mean if I love you?" You asked.

Vincent nodded.

"Well, that's one way to put it." You smiled and headed towards the direction of the sounds of battle with Vincent Valentine behind you.
