"Brrr! Everyone get inside quickly. We'll unpack after we warm up a bit," Francis called out to the rest of the group. All three nodded in agreement and rushed into the cozy cabin. Once the door was closed, Francis left to go light the fireplace.

"We most definitely did not prepare for this trip properly," Amelia muttered, bothered by the immense cold. She shivered by the still empty fireplace in the living room. Alice scoffed and received a nasty look from Amelia in return.

"Didn't I tell you so?" Alice smirked. She didn't want to go on this trip to the winter cabin as she had known it was going to be below temperatures. But Amelia dragged her along despite Alice's protests.

Oliver, the younger brother of Francis, rolled his eyes at the two girls. "Oh, shut up and enjoy yourselves," he paused. "Go tell Francis I'm not waiting for him to start the fire. He's obviously having trouble. I'll go get our luggage."

The best friends glanced towards the elder in charge and saw that he was indeed having some trouble with the fireplace. Oliver took that as a 'sure', and left the cabin.

Francis looked up at the sound of a slammed door. "Where did Oli go?"

"He just went to go get the luggage, said he didn't want to wait," Alice shrugged, and sat on the couch in front of the fireplace. Amelia joined her, and short after Francis did as well.

"I don't get it. The fire won't start, I've tried everything," he sighed, disappointed and frustrated. Amelia groaned and hugged herself to keep warm.

"This sucks! At least we have the blankets in the truck," she said to lighten up the atmosphere.

Alice sat up, a puzzled look on her face. "Speaking of the truck, where the heck is Oliver? He's been out there for a while," she noticed.

The other two looked around as well, and noticed that the boy hadn't returned outside. They all slowly got up and walked to the door. Alice stopped suddenly, hand on the door knob. She shook it a few times before she looked to her friends with panic.

"The door won't open!" Alice exclaimed.

"What? No way, let me try," Amelia offered, and grabbed the door handle. She tugged on it and pushed on the door but to no avail. Francis stood by the window, and let out a gasp.

"Y-you can't even see outside.. it's a snowstorm!"

The three stood in shock and worry. Was Oliver safe? Amelia gave Francis a hug and told him, "It's okay. He probably took shelter in the car."

He nodded, and the group found their way back to the couch.

"Well, there's no fire and no blankets. Plus we're locked in by snow... so what do we do now?" Francis asked them quietly.

"I don't know but it's getting really, really cold," Alice mumbled, goosebumps and all. Amelia was sporting a pale face with a blue tint now.

"We wait."

Ivan began to clap, smiling ear to ear. "CUT! Bravo, bravo!" The actors cheered, finally done with filming their short story.

"You four did wonderful," Ivan cried. Rio, the actress who played Amelia grinned.

"We did our best, Ivan."
