The days ticked by slowly, her heart losing the strength to beat.
Amazing how something so fragil can go on for so long, after he left.
for he took the heart with him. She gave it willingly, though.
She didnt want it back...no matter how much pain it caused.
Soon, she droped to her knees in a silent prayer, before picking the wooden floor bored.
hidden under the creaking floor laid a box, proving he was real.
There hid pictures, a cd of the lullby, and a the love letters they shared.
As she glanced at the memorabilia of there lost love, her breathing came out in short shallow gasps.
The room began fadding from her vision,
a peaceful smile finally tugged at her lips.
for she knew she would finally see him-her edward-once more.
His name no longer brought a pain to her chest, for it would be the last time she would feel
hurt
broken
forgotten
and unloved.
it was to late to save her.
