Chapter 1
It had been eight days since the death of her father. Young 16 year old Sango was off to stay with her uncle in Tokyo, her mother was in no condition to watch after her and her younger brother kohaku who was 12 at the time, so she packed up her three suitcases and headed to the door.
"Goodbye hunny" her mom said as she hugged her goodbye, sang could see the pain and tears past her mothers smile "bye mom" she replied she heard a honk outside and knew that was her uncle. She put her stuff in the trunk got in next to kohaku and off they went to live in Tokyo. The car ride was silent half way there, Sango stared out the window up into the clouds.
"Are yall hungry" uncle asked them pulling up into Wacdonalds
"Yeah I'm starving" kohaku said getting out the car
"No im ok" Sango smiled at him
They walked into Wacdonalds and ordered there food while Sango stayed in the car. She couldn't get the image of her father laying in a casket all scared up out of her head no matter how many tears she cried the pain wouldn't go away but she had to be strong especially for kohaku. When they came back in the car the smell of the food made her realize how hungry she really was. So she grabbed some of kohaku's fries and eat them
"hey get some of your own" he said taking his bag away from were she could reach it
"you want some fries, here" her uncle handed her a medium fry "I thought u might be hungry" she smiled at him and eat her fries, it took a total of 1 and ½ hours to get to Tokyo so by the time they got there it was around 2. Uncles house was beautiful, it had 4 bedrooms 3 bathrooms a basement a backyard with a pool and Jacuzzi and a beautiful fireplace in the living room and master bed room, most of the walls were painted a goldish-brown except the kitchen with was a bright yellow. Sango took her bags to the second biggest room in the house there was a queen sized bed a vanity an armoire and a desk, Sango put her clothes in the armoire and sat on her bed this room was twice the size of her old room. She laid there for about an hour until she drifted to sleep. She didn't wake up for dinner or anything she slept straight until it was morning. She woke up to her uncle tapping on her shoulder
"Wake up Sango, wake up" he said tapping her
"5 more minutes daddy, ok" she said rolling over. Her uncle sighed and knelt down next to her "hunny its me uncle" he said in he ear. She rolled over and looked at him
"Good morning" she said with a half smile.
"Good morning" he said smiling "its time to get up you have school to start".
So she got up and went to the bathroom and took a nice hot shower and brushed her teeth she went to her armoire and pulled out some tight black jeans and a yellow shirt that said "you wish you were as perfect as me" and put her hair in a loose ponytail. She put on some light makeup and walked downstairs. The school she was going to you didn't have to wear a uniform so she was happy.
"Morning sis" kohaku said with a smile he had on some jeans and a button up green shirt.
"Morning kohaku" she hugged him and sat down. Her uncle cooked a big breakfast of omelets, pancakes, rice and tea. Sango made a big plate since she slept through dinner she was really hungry, when she was finished she grabbed her book bag and headed off to school first she had to walk kohaku.
