No joke this car ride has been reeaaaally boring.

As far as Sonny was concerned, Chad was the love of her life. As far as Chad was concerned, Sonny was the love of his.

Would either ever tell each other? Probably not. Each thought the other hated them.

Sonny thought Chad hated her because of the way he would tease her and her show all the time. Chad thought Sonny hated him because he knew he was never as kind as he could be.

Sonny did notice however, the times where Chad would care. The time he busted into her apartment (even if he did break her door) because he thought she was in trouble. The time where he dressed up as Sonny's "biggest fan" so she wouldn't be embarrassed on TV, the time where he danced with her at the studio's prom.

Chad noticed the way when he did nice things it made Sonny smile. He did love her smile. One of the many qualities about her that made him so infatuated with her. Thats why he would do these things, that were normally so against his character. Perhaps if he was kind more often, perhaps he could convince Sonny that he didn't hate her at all. That he never means it when he teases her.

Perhaps Sonny thought maybe this kindness he showed meant he didn't really hate her. Tawni had told her, on multiple occasions, the only reason he teases Sonny so much more then the other So Random cast members was because he liked her. At the time she had laughed it off, but could Tawni have been right?

Perhaps Chad thought, Sonny didn't hate him. She was always caring, even if he had been acting like a total jerk. Maybe that smile, or the laugh she got when he would make a corny joke, meant.. she liked him back?

No.. neither wanted to get their hopes up. Neither was willing to ruin the relationship they had now. To risky.

For now they would, stay as they were. For now they would remain, frienimies. Maybe someday though, one of them would work up the courage to say how they truly feel
